(NO SPOILERS AFTER EP.15 CUZ I WANNA FIND OUT MYSELF)

Watching Ep.15 got me more confused than ever kjdshfjkshfk Bai Ze said that one of the people who went into the illusion together are the "owners" of the illusion who is connected to the past (of that illusion)... and he said that both Yuan Wuhuo and Li Jie are both connected to the illusion they're in (I'm guessing this is cuz they both didn't go together/at the same time and instead both went alone?)... Now, it made me think that Yuan Wuhuo and Li Jie are also really brothers (I thought Li Jie is maybe Yuan Xizai just cuz they both look alike - twins)... but then, flashbacks of Ji Ling pop up as Yuan Wuhuo looks back at Li Jie (who is playing Yuan Xizai). I have a feeling this flashback is probably the same exact thing that just happened where Yuan Xizai got hurt or something from that Star Stone explosion and Yuan Wuhuo remembers and got really emotional when he looked back at him (cuz he's experiencing it all over again). So his real brother looks like Ji Ling???? I also did question why Yuan Xizai (in a different flashback) had Ji Ling's doll with him.... I am so confused. It makes me think Ji Ling and Yuan Xizai were connected with each other just cuz they both own the doll. Unless they are the same person??? But now it makes me more confused bc Ji Ling who we can also call Chiwen IS Chiwen... and Chiwen IS Wang Duo's character.... does the real Ji Ling (the Dragon Deity) actually look like Chiwen for real???? I AM CONFUSED AS HELL. But I'm gonna go and watch the next ep soon to get more answers LMAO

Lu Yuxiao gets a good amount of screentime! I love the time she's on screen! She is so cute and her acting is sooo good!!! Agree with Hu Yitian's acting tho, he is so bad (I cannot feel his love for FL and he isn't even emotional in emotional scenes which takes me out like...) but I just went with it with those expectations anyways. I loved the drama overall :) It's a loving one ❤️

DANG, I just watched Ep.13 and not being more confused than EVER!!!! Like the TwinsGo is the SIX-EYED BUTTERFLY?????????? What's their relationship with Yuan Wuhuo, who is also named as the Six-Eyed Butterfly????? And what's up with Wang Duo being Chiwen (that's clearly his voice - if my sister hadn't pointed it out, I wouldn't have thought it but that IS legit his voice)... Checked the casting here and yup, Wang Duo's name is INDEED Chiwen.... now what's the relationship between actual Chiwen and ML Chiwen? Like I am more confused than ever kjsdhfshdfk did real Chiwen maybe bring ML Chiwen (Ji Ling) into the Shilin Sect and allowed him to use his identity or WHAT???? Or Ji Ling took his identity cuz he was evil or smth and so he wouldn't cause havoc (complete guesses lmao)... I NEED MORE ANSWERS! Instead, I got more QUESTIONS! 😭😩 And also, from Ep.12 (maybe you guys already found out so don't spoil), Yuan Xizai is owning Ji Ling's doll from the flashbacks??????? THIS IS SO CONFUSING. What's their relationship there now too???? It's like everyone is stealing each other's identities, I am so confused LMAO

hey, I feel the same way for you. I am worried bc of casting difference and won't feel the same way when watching Rebirth after finishing Princess Agents but tbh I'm still gonna give PA a chance. I watched some eps (not that much tho) and dropped it a year ago. Maybe I was just not in the mood for it and the production quality was low for me to bear (I don't mind it anymore tho) but so far, not bad. I wanna try pushing through it this time cuz I don't really wanna watch Rebirth first without knowing what the characters went through. I also did see someone say that you should watch PA if you wanna empathize/feel more with the characters in Rebirth. It's also bc of that cliffhanger... like Rebirth just starts with a fight, right? Which is where they left off in PA. So I feel like watching Rebirth first would be really confusing esp with the constant flashbacks that you could see more of the context of those flashbacks in PA. But let's see... I wanna try not comparing Rebirth to PA after I watch Rebirth and enjoy both as they are despite different casting. I mean, they are 9 years apart, so...

I did drop Princess Agents last year bc for some reason, I got bored... but at the same time, I do remember liking some things about it. I dropped it cuz I guess I just wasn't in the mood for it? I remember I wanted to keep going tho for at least the 2ML cuz I really loved him but I just ended up dropping it in the end. I decided to pick it back up again from the beginning (I didn't watch that many eps before dropping it) bc of Rebirth sequal and so far, so good. Ofc I won't have the highest expectations bc of my initial impression on it. I know the production value isn't that great cuz I mean, it was released in 2017 so it makes sense! Tbh, I used to think in my head that if the production value looks bad, then I most likely won't watch it but lately, I don't think about it as much and try focusing on the story instead. I actually hate that I used to think this way cuz there are a lot of masterpieces with not the best production quality so don't hold back if quality looks bad bc story and plot is the most important thing! The production value of PA isn't the worst tho. It's still bearable. And I don't hate it tbh. I like it more than I thought! But anyways, I watch 3 eps so far without getting bored so that's something. I do remember not being in the ML sadly and had SLS and I prob will end up having that but let's see if that'll change... Ppl told me that if I wanna feel/empathize with the characters for Rebirth, I should watch PA first because everything that happens in PA are events that happened BEFORE Rebirth. Omg, it's so nice to know that! Which dramas are your favorites from my list? The Untamed is def my #1 alongside Fangs of Fortune and I see that's the only drama you rated 10! I'm never gonna get over that show. I'm currently reading the novel (have you done that already?) and I can't help but remember so many scenes from the drama and reading it just puts a smile on my face so much bc of it. I def wanna rewatch it again after I finish all 5 volumes! I am a very slow reader cuz I haven't gotten accustomed to reading so much yet... but I wanna try reading more cuz I bought a ton of danmeis (with my twin sister who is also cdrama and danmei fan lol)

dang that's insane! While I was watching PoJ during airing, I couldn't believe how high it was. Like it's good watch but not a masterpiece type of watch (like The Untamed for example).

I see many praise JoL like it's one of the best dramas ever (literally a masterpiece). I have yet to watch that. I def wanna try it one day! I'm gonna try watching it before this year ends, we'll see.

Yeah I can't believe there are ppl who say that romance can save a show like it just can't unless it's very good chemistry that you don't think about the plot at all (which is rare tbh)

yup! I dropped at Ep.13 and tbh was shipping SML with FL but like I'm gonna try to ignore having my SLS and just go with the flow 😭 It's been like 12-13 months (so a year) since I watched it so I'm restarting it ofc LOL

btw wait, so did you watch the whole PA drama already? If at least you remember how it ends and maybe the important stuff, maybe you don't needa watch it again. It does give flashbacks of what happens so I guess you're all good if you remember decently?

lol I'm the complete opposite. if the plot doesn't hold me, then no for me. overall, I don't drop dramas often but if I get too bored, then yeah, I'll just drop. I try to give many dramas a chance even if there are some parts I get bored of. But for me, plot and writing is #1 for me. If the writing is so bad, messy, jumbled, too much filler... despite there being romance, then it's a drop for me. I can't deal with dramas like that oof like not even romance can hold a drama for me esp if the chemistry isn't the strongest if yk what I mean. Tbh I get real sad if a drama's rating is so much lower than it deserves just cuz ppl want lots of romance unfortunately (*cough cough* Blood River, Whispers of Fate, The Wanted Detective, etc.) Writing very good but not rating sadly

SAME! I actually watched a bit of PA last year but dropped it cuz I got bored but deciding to give it another chance tbh bc I heard Rebirth starts off with the cliffhanger of PA... let's see how this goes... I'm gonna skip scenes that I feel are unnecessary filler

yeah I find the 9.2, even 9.1 to be way too overrated for the drama (since I wouldn't call it a "masterpiece" if yk what I mean). Maybe 8.7 I feel like it would be. It's still a good watch tho since I did enjoy it for the most part! Def some parts dragged but overall good

I don't get it cuz these characters are younger than their counterparts in PA. it's so confusing 😭 Like it would make more sense if it happened before PA but it's not oof... some ppl say you don't need to watch PA bc it shows flashbacks... what do you think? I think if you rlly don't wanna watch PA, you can just watch this instead of just not watching it bc of not having watched PA
