Drama 10/10 for me so far. Not bored a single moment. The story is really engaging, comedic timing is so good, music/bgm really good, acting so good, aesthetics very pleasing (reminds me of MJTY and FoF which I loved 😭🥹), love so many characters here (and thankfully no really annoying ones so far from where I watched). Excited to watch more of it! Can't wait to see the rating going up as more people watch and as more episodes release. Hope it continues to engage me to the fullest till the end 🙏🏻

Only watched 3 and already obsessed lol. It's the only thing I wanna watch atp 🤣🤣🤣 But ofc with no more episodes, I have to watch other dramas too skjdfksjdfhkj but this one is the best drama for me that I'm watching now. I always wanna watch another but then I'm like, "No, I should wait... I'm gonna be sad once I finish all episodes and will be eager for more (then suffer for the wait lol)." And omg, you already rewatched all episodes woahhh, I def wanna rewatch this drama later too tho 😂 I bet I'm gonna be so sad once this drama is over kjsdhfsdfkh

sameeee. everything about this is so good, 10/10 for me LOL. the humor reminds me of FoF a lot (imo) bc it starts off so funny but then gets very dark later on and I feel it's gonna be the same here. ML suffers in both and has a heartbreaking backstory so lemme enjoy the fun now and be prepared for the angst that is to come 😭

yes same! I think one of the locations might've also been filmed in MJTY actually. I think it's Gong's Residence. I haven't found the actual scene yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it were true. The aesthetics in this drama are one of the best I've seen!

oh gosh, I hope you are enjoying it now. It is sooo good and one of my first historical Chinese dramas. I've been wanting to watch it since 2020-2021 but I wasn't a huge C-Drama fan that time so I didn't until early 2023 and regret it so bad that I hadn't watch it earlier. Drama so good I could never rate this lower than a 10 LOL I love me my Weiying, Lan Zhan, Wenning, Yanli, Wenqing, etc. 😭🥺 Miss them so bad that I wanted to rewatch it this October for Weiying and Xiao Zhan's bday but can't cuz too many dramas airing this month! 😭 😭 😭 Anyways, enjoyyy!!!!

We are never getting over our FoF era 😭😭😭 Almost one year since I first watched it omg, time flies 😭😭😭

The comedy is so good, it reminds me of Fangs of Fortune in a way especially that scene (link below) when Ji Bozai is fake crying and making up his sad backstory HAHAHAHAHA, why is he reminding me of Zhao Yuanzhou in that scene a lot 😂😂😂 I fear this is gonna be similar to FoF where it's so comedic in the beginning and will get very dark later on 😭 I esp get reminded in the trailer how much our Ji Bozai has suffered that he felt betrayed by everyone 😭 Haven't seen it yet from where I watched but I'm looking forward to it! The fact that he is also such a comedic character despite his sad backstory just like Zhao Yuanzhou too :( As a huge fan of FoF, I couldn't help but get reminded of it. I hope no one takes my words to heart tho if they didn't like FoF bc they are two different dramas. One may not like one while they may love the other.

Lol yeah you know what it is! Sorry for the late reply! I don't see it on your watchlist tho... so I assumed you didn't watch it. I always add every drama to my watchlist and completed lol. And I like the drama but I don't think I'd rewatch it again. I only rewatch dramas that I really love and it's most likely just gonna be the dramas I rate 10 or 9.5, maybe 9 but it depends. And the way I guessed Moonlit Reunion a bit later haha

wowww, I didn't even notice this at all. I watched on Netflix but recorded the scene on Youku and I can't believe I didn't notice it... and the difference really is there. More emotional on Youku and more dark on Netflix... I hope they don't do this too often cuz I don't wanna miss out what Youku has unless maybe someone puts all the changed scenes/audio somewhere

I really hope Rongxian and Linglong from MM will become a couple here but I'm not gonna expect it at all here, it's just a hope only 😭 We need the tragic couple to get their own happy ending in another universe despite their screentime being so small in MM 😩🥲😥 I really loved them there, one of my favorites :(

Just watched episode 1 and it was so good and hilarious, I really couldn't stop laughing. They both know each other is scheming. They're both smart XDD The comedy is so good, it really had me laughing most this ep. I am so glad both Neo Hou and Lu Yuxiao dub themselves bc they give such a unique vibe and color to their role. I really can't imagine hearing them in a different voice. Esp Lu Yuxiao's scheming husky voice and Neo Hou's comedy voice... very needed! And I know there are so many more familiar faces I'll be seeing in the next episodes, I am so excited!

Yes there will be a S2. I am so excited ahhh 😭🥹 They already filmed for it and I heard it MIGHT come soon (in a few months or early next year) which I hope is the case! Cuz I really need more of this 😭😩

I'm already on the last episode and I'm gonna miss it so much!!! I especially loved the second half where we got more of the iron triangle! I feel like Xiaoge wasn't getting enough screentime and I was so sad but I was so happy he was there the whole time during the ship mission. Every time he appears, idk how to describe it but I can't help but fall in love with him every time he comes on screen, he is too cool 😭😭😭 Every time he goes out of his way to save them just really touches my heart a lot. The amount of times he sacrificed himself to protect everyone when no one else was there for him. How can such a person exist in this world? I love him so much :( It made me sad to find out he's an immortal bc wouldn't life be tougher to live if he lived for so long??? And I heard he has such a sad backstory. Don't spoil me since I am new to this DMBJ and wanna learn about it myself by watching some of the other dramas adaptations. Although I heard that the author plans to make the whole series with this fixed cast so I am excited cuz I love them 😭 👊🏻 Can't wait to watch their friendship grow in the next season and the next ones to come!

I watched this right after TJOL bc we got Wuxie and Xiaoge there and I was excited to watch them again here. I couldn't even recognize Cheng Xiang at all when I looked into the photos that I was really shocked that he was the same actor as Zuoqiu in TJOL (didn't even realize he was in the poster with XZX tbh)!!!! The aura he gives here is so different and bc of his Xiaoge, I fell in love with this actor like I can't wait to watch him in more dramas 😭 Was already a huge Xu Zhenxuan fan bc of his role as Ying Lei in Fangs of Fortune who is so lovable, adorable, yet funny! So happy to see him for a third time in this show and can't wait to see him portraying Wuxie again for this universe if the remake really goes through 🥹 Let's go team!!!! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
