I really felt pain for her and yes she did a lot of things, but she grew up in Cold Spring Palace when she was young. Where you grew up from influences the type of person you are so it's understandable. Yes, it's so sad she did so many bad things but she regretted it sooo much esp after learning about her true origin and how she killed someone close to her. She doesn't wanna talk to her family again bc of the guilt she feels. You can see the pain inside of her. Dai Luwa's acting here was so good, I could feel every inch of pain of guilt she was healing. She was hurt physically AND mentally. She lost her memories so she didn't know where came from and was brainwashed into thinking her family abandoned her when her family was so loving. Her family didn't know she was being taken to such a place. She really grew up in such a cruel place and lived such a cruel life taking orders from someone and learning to do bad things. She was never free. She never experienced what it is like to live out in a free world full of many great things (bc of her memory loss). So it's not entirely her fault that she became like this. She was young! I love her bc she is a very understandable character. She is definitely one of my most favorite characters bc she was sooo well-written. It's rare to find characters like her

if you're talking about just the main couple, then yes. if not, then no. personally for me it's not happy oof but it's still an amazing drama! still my fav in 2025 even after 9 months!

I am watching on Youku and I don't necessarily mean blurry, I just mean the quality is not as best as it could be. I compare Youku to like Netflix and iQIYI if a drama is there and I'm sad whenever I see how low the quality Youku is compared to the two. I mean I feel like most Chinese sites are unfortunately and I just deal with it. Most don't give us a good 1080p quality. iQIYI I know has 4K but even the 1080p is much better imo compared to other sites (even small items in the background don't look blurry at all on iQIYI). I know Youku CHINA has 4K and it's quite sad they don't give it to us international fans :/ It's also more obvious when the scenes are very dark too. I'm sorry if my comment came off as rude cuz I wasn't meaning to...

I hope they do end up putting it on Netflix even tho it may be later. I'd be up for a rewatch with 4K quality if the drama continues to keep me engaged till the end.
So loving the bromance here!!! Loving every minute of it even tho I'm just in the middle of Ep.3. Their chemistry is soooo good!!!! I am also loving every one of the main characters so far (tho haven't seen Mu Xuewei yet tho I'm looking forward to seeing her whenever she comes!)

murong zhong died when he was about to kill feng suige by fu yixao's arrow and murong yao died by the hands of feng suige (in a very satisfying way as he showed him his father sitting down DEAD just like how feng suige faced seeing his own father dead like that too b4 their plan of killing him)... episode 35 for murong zhong and 36 for murong yao since it seems like you missed such a big thing

Idk if it's a plothole or anything but why does Ji Bozai believe that she's still Mingyi? They were able to cross the bridge which indicated that they love each other but when he tried to imprint her name, it would always fail and give an error and lightning would strike him. This was not bc she didn't love him (crossing the bridge indicated that she did, otherwise, they wouldn't have been able to cross it) but bc of the fact that she's not Mingyi right? Why does he believe that she's still Mingyi after this? I'm so confused....
