Also, even if the drama may not be your taste so far, I'd love to recommend you to at least give the OSTs a listen because it's the most beautiful OST of a drama I've ever listened to EVER and this is not me exaggerating just bc I am so obsessed with the drama (#1 with 'The Untamed'). It's has like this magical and euphorical yet may be somewhat emotional/sentimental feeling esp after you watch the drama. Listening to it makes me reminisce about all the characters, making me miss them more, but love them more as each song really resonates with each one. Each song just has its own uniqueness which really goes so well with the drama. Each one feels like it really belongs to FoF alone. Like I can't imagine these OSTs in other dramas bc it just has that FoF feel to them if yk what I mean. It was a drama OST I could never get over for MONTHS and I never usually do this for a drama like EVER. That's just how good they were. All the main supporting cast sing their own OST (Pei Siblings singing duo together) and they also have a group song together where they dance (ending credits) which is nice bc we get to watch it after all the sad moments are happening to at least take a breather from all that crying... all the songs are so good. Makes sense. I remember having really high expectations for this drama and I loved the cinematography, but I also felt the same way as you in the beginning. I didn't know what the plot was at all or where it was going, I also thought the comedy was a bit weird but as I watched it more and more, I started to fall in love with it. I think it started mostly in Ep.15 (when I started to get obsessed with it). But then I got sooo obsessed with it as more and more episodes came that I hated waiting for episodes everyday. We were all struggling bc there was even a week where they only released 1 episode a day... which is where all the strong bromance happens between these two... it was hard but it was worth it haha. The beginning may start off a bit weird but maybe the 2nd half will change your mind. The vibe changes a lot. After going through all those sad moments and missing the drama a lot, I went back to rewatch the drama all over again and omg, I loved the first half way more than I did the first time I watched. I caught so many more BL moments between the two (which it might not show that explicity but there are hints of it... example: yuanzhou looking at yichen's lips when yichen said, "do what you're good at" 🤭). Yeah, it may start off slow first, but then it starts to build up later and more serious things start to happen. I think the beginning may just be like giving us a start with the friendships and relationships of the drama before all the heavy stuff comes so yeah. Many things may not make sense at first, but as you watch it more and more, it will make a lot more sense. And I think it may also have to do with the personalities of each character which can turn smth that makes no sense to smth that makes sense. At least that's how I felt when rewatching it. Everything felt more natural to me than forced later in the series as I started to understand and get to know them more. Anyways, I will say the acting is really really good in this drama. Rare to find good chemistry like this (esp between 2 MLs). In the end, the expectations I had with this drama vs to how much I enjoyed it was this... it was smth I did not expect to enjoy THIS MUCH to the point that I got so OBSESSED with it like no words can even explain how obsessed I was with it, waiting each episode a day for new episodes... the experience I had with this, and being only the 2nd Cdrama I watched while airing... was AN EXPERIENCE. The drama definitely exceeded my expectations than what I had originally before the drama aired. It's a drama that stuck to me for months and still today, if I focus on it again, I just know I'll obsess over it again that I wish there was a S2 for this... I try to focus on other dramas so that I stop thinking about this 24/7 but I'll still come back here from time to time haha... it's definitely not easy to move on from it.

That was the grossest and most awkward thing ever. I hate him even more now. He made our Xueyu feel so terrible and suffer inside 😭😭😭 ughhhh, why did I have to see that... what happened to the xiao brothers when their parents are such good ppl, pathetic.... qiushui and xueyu are the only good children of them now 🫩🙄

Highly doubt it's him. That would be too much for me. Plus he was worried smth was gonna happen to Qiushui since he also fell into a trap himself. Why would he want Qiushui dead/hurt right? After waking up from this trap, he can't be acting since no one is watching him there. His true reaction and first thought to be getting caught was being worried about Qiushui! The mastermind can't be that dumb to fall into this trap too, right? Especially since he has done so much succeeding before. Btw I only left off in the scene where Qiushui was about to face Yuhan's father so I'm a lil behind but I will check the mastermind's facial features again (eyes and lips). I have my bets on Tang Song. He was also freed from jail and they didn't show him after that so it is possible he could be scheming behind the scenes

I honestly don't even ship Qiushui and Tang Fang and personally for me (plz don't came at me if you share a different opinion! 😭🙏🏻) if they are trying to hint romance, it feels very forced (bc Qiushui liking her out of nowhere and way too sudden is a bit....). Anyways, on the other hand, I love Chenzhou and Shirong. They make such a cute couple yet both so strong and each to their own. I love how they both have eyes for each other and that both have their own duties in the Power Gang which makes their place in the drama even better ig? Idk if I'm explaining well but yeah haha they just seem to have more chemistry with each other imo

Li Chenzhou smiling as soon as he sees Qiushui was so good 😂 He was already interested in him before but I can tell that after meeting him, he found him even more interesting 😆 Like the way he looks at him jdksjkskssk I am captivated by it! Chenzhou loves him but Qiushui hates him, so amazing 😆🤭🫠

And their fighting scene was just AMAZING! Like it was sooo beautiful!!! I can't believe Li Chenzhou still can't be beaten even after Qiushui gained 60 years of internal energy from the Infinite Pill AND all the 8 masters' skills and internal energy too 😭 Chenzhou, you are just too good! I love how even tho Chenzhou could have beaten him in the end, he didn't want to. I knew he wouldn't want to hurt Qiushui. Oh I need the bromance to keep coming for these two, they are my favorite 😭😩😍🔥🔥

I seriously loved everyone's reactions when Chenzhou appeared "HOW CAN THEY LOOK SO MUCH ALIKE?" And Sancai saying that Qiushui is more handsome than Li Chenzhou when they look completely identical 🤣🤣🤣 I wonder how it feels to be hurt by someone who you would mistaken as someone who always wanted to protect the world and never betray LMAOOOO 😂😂😂😂

I am not done Ep.27 but my gosh, this is my favorite episode so far 😭😭😭 As someone who waited so long for this moment of these 2 Chengyis fighting, it didn't disappoint 😩 Gosh how can they both be so handsome????? I guess they thought one Chengyi wasn't enough so they decided to give us 2 😭

Still can't believe the top 7 of the cast are all casted in the same drama together 😭 Literally it's sooo crazy to see such amazing actors that I LOVE in one drama like wowww!!!! Don't really know much of the series and which actors play them but I know Chengyi and Neo have one together and I heard their chemistry is so good so I'm gonna guess you're talking about them lol (but if not, sorry for the assumption) / or is it Ultimate Note? Anyways, to think that Chengyi and Neo are like in the top 3 of my actors so I really wanna watch this soon. To see these two on screen together would be so insane for me honestly (I mean seeing clips of them already make me go crazy skjdfhsdhfkj). I've also heard great things about Ultimate Note, and seeing that rating being so high makes me want to watch it even more, I definitely will when I get the time and decide to (as there are so many other dramas on my watchlist oof)

I kinda feel bad 😭😭😭 He's just that good man like wow.... and like I kinda feel bad bc I already was looking forward to this drama since like even before Fangs of Fortune came out so when I checked it again back in December and realized Xu Zhenxuan was there I was like....??????? It became like even more on my top plan-to-watch list 😭😭😭😭 So I was looking forward to their chemistry lol wasn't sure what to expect but... 😅

I still can't believe both Xu Zhenxuan (Suifeng) and Cheng Xiang (Zuoqiu) are in another drama together like look at how handsome they are in 'Time Raiders'! 😭😩 They literally have zero interactions in this drama (FSH) but in TR they have all the interactions/screentime in the world XD

Hello, I saw that you dropped this :( May I ask why you did? How many episodes have you watched so far? If you are rlly looking for the BL element here, you're gonna miss this one out. It's really good! It's really rare to find BL Cdramas nowadays so I would say, this is a rare find and it'll prob be so difficult to find another Cdrama like this one in the future.

The first half is the bickering between the MLs but 2nd half (I would say starting Ep.15) is where it starts to slowly grow deeper. And honestly, if you're scared about the romance, you can just decide to skip those scenes bc there isn't much and you wouldn't miss out the story/plot at all. I've seen some ppl do that. And I probably be one of those ppl once I rewatch those again cuz... I also felt it was forced haha.

I will tell you that two MLs get the most screentime together, and I'm not kidding. Some of their bickering already kinda shows that their relationship could grow into smth deeper (like we see with several other BLs)... and there is a lot of flirt between them two (Yuanzhou often teases and flirts with Yichen lol)... and I've seen other non-BL watchers even say that it's so easy to see the BL element in this one.

I don't wanna spoil much so I'm gonna make this more vague (trying not to spoil the plot and such) but there was a time when one of them wanted to sacrifice himself to save the others. The last person he talked to was that other ML. If you think about it deeper, wouldn't the last person you want to talk to and look at in your last moments the one who mean the most to you? The other guy did the same, looking at the other guy during their what they felt like was their last moment even tho FL was on the screen (both MLs like the girl but I often question it cuz... I mean, the way they look at each other goes beyond that (the way they look at the FL)... Many times these guys lent a helping hand to each other during moments that were so hard, the other grabbed onto it tightly when so. They often cried and smile at each other during those moments that were so sad like maybe in sacrificing moments, or moments that felt like a near-death for one of them but with relief that it wasn't. There was also a moment when one of them looked like they said 'Ai ni (I love you)' when he thought the other guy would die (it was silenced just like in WoH). And during that moment, it looked like they were so in love and the other guy was crying a lot bc he thought he died and regretted so hard not saving him sooner. I guess those are some of the deep moments that happen between the MLs. There is also another guy (the main villain) that seemed to have a relationship with the ML but it's like they broke up and ML finds someone else who understands him better and therefore chooses him as his the one he trusts in the most. He even does things for the 2ML that he doesn't do for the FL. And I'm like, "Wouldn't you do this for that one special one? And it's him, not FL?" I get shocked every time I think about it haha.
