I think Ima wait this one out (on ep18). I couldn't take one suffering after another while the bad guys getting…
Ep.19 is where it starts to get better. I was finally happy that all that angst was finally over (the brothers really pissed me off so hard) 😭 soon to watch ep.20 and I heard it's really good. The beginning already made me happy and emotional bc of what we may have learned in the first scene πŸ₯Ή

How is Ming Ming regaining Qiu Shui’s memories? Are they actually the same person.... just existing in two different…
Long ago, I actually said that I hope the 3 friends are really his 3 friends in real life but just don't have their memories of their modern life 😭 Bc Tang Rou dying so early broke me to pieces as he was my favorite amongst his friends and it feels so empty without him.

I was like, "Atp, I hope that the 3 friends are his actual friends in the modern world but just don't have their memories of it so that the whole squad has a happy ending when he comes back 😭"

I am only making a guess but what if the real world time is very different? As in... what if the real world goes by a lot slower and by the time Mingming wakes up in his body again, not much time has passed? And what if the 3 friends come and reunite altogether and talk about that life in the book omg... well, I hope I'm right but let's not be disappointed if it isn't 🫠

You have to remember that in order for an actor to get more roles they have to be more versatile. It's awesome…
Ofc. I love his character here too (and hate him lmao). Seeing him get lots of praise makes me so happy! The versatility between both characters is insane and I can't stop praising him remembering they are both played by the same actor. It really shows how talented this guy is. It amazes me even more to know that we were also born the same year too 😭😭😭 My man getting the recognition he deserves makes me the happiest ever. I am excited to watch him in more different roles in the future πŸ₯Ή

I'm sorry but whenever I am watching Suifeng (I have a really love-hate relationship with him), I keep missing my protective, one to sacrifice, comedic, humorous Ying Lei so bad!!!! 😭😭😭 I still do wonder how he would sound if his own voice was used bc I love his original voice and miss it 😭😒 I can imagine some of his most serious scenes where his voice is all sad and "wanting to fight no matter what" vibe. But anyways, even tho this ain't the FoF page, I'd love to recommend his song called "Heroes Are Upright". The song really gives off Ying Lei's color πŸ’™

https://open.spotify.com/track/5ddUf5PYshOkNsPcFpcQEN?si=G3NKfj3XRr2zIBZuI_W2Xg

I hope ppl give support to his song even tho it's not from Fushanhai bc our Ying Lei is such an underrated soul that deserves sm more love πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯Ί LMAO, the way even Suifeng is getting more love than him despite his bad side. I don't blame them bc I mean, he is handsome and interesting πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I just hope he has a redemption arc tho πŸ˜«πŸ™πŸ»

I can't praise enough how amazed I am with Xu Zhenxuan's acting skills. I am aware they are played by the same actor but it doesn't feel like it at all 😭 The acting and vibe is sooo different. I wouldn't have known if it weren't my huge love for FoF and his character (which is... even tho I was really looking forward to fushanhai already, it was even more after finding out he was casted alongside Chengyi here. This got me way too excited for this!). Xu Zhenxuan's styling in both dramas is crazily different, too. If you watch Ying Lei, you're going to see a fresh side of him. He is the only one who truly never betrays any of his friends but stands up for them always πŸ’™ Sorry for the Ying Lei / Xu Zhenxuan / Suifeng rant 😭😭😭 I hope I didn't become too annoying γ… γ… γ… γ…

Bonus: Ying Lei fun edit. Let's at least see our Xu Zhenxuan smiling πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Oh you're gonna love the bromance so much. I kid you not, the word bromance does not do justice to the relationship…
Why does reading this make me so happy 😭 It's like I should do a full-on review lmao! I always feel lazy doing reviews but when it comes to talking about these two, I can't stop talking πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I wrote a review as soon as I finished watching it last year but it was way too long, I didn't know how to adjust it so I never posted it 😭 Should I do it now LOL. I also talked about the friendship too (gosh I miss them all) πŸ₯Ή

And yesss I really need to rewatch this again! I might rewatch it on the anniversary atp! I really need to, I miss it so bad 😭😭😭

Oh you're gonna love the bromance so much. I kid you not, the word bromance does not do justice to the relationship…
I'm so glad I was able to help and encourage you πŸ₯Ή I am more of a friendship-bromance watcher. Tbh if a drama that does not need romance at all has romance then it does make me sad and frustrated. I prefer no romance. But romance is okay for me if I can feel their chemistry. You'll feel it a lot here between the two MLs haha can't wait for you to get to those parts πŸ₯Ή

Since you don't like straight romance I will say there will be some scenes here that you prob will want to skip. Thats how I felt bc it felt so forced to me (and I was just shipping the two MLs). The thing I liked about Wen Xiao and Yuanzhou was their bickering. That's it. Their lovey-dovey moments felt off bc of how they would act towards each other and also it just was too sudden and did not develop right. So be aware of that. I don't want you to watch without knowing bc I know someone else who has also felt frustrated watching those scenes as the BL shipper they are but still kept going and loved it! Don't worry. Bc the strong bromance that is to come WILL make up for all of those feelings πŸ’™ You'll forget that there even is a straight romance lol. Bc ZYZ x ZYC's love for each other speaks louder than words!

Came here for the Bromance & then saw there is a female lead πŸ₯Ή I'm Still going to watch it though, I saw…
Oh you're gonna love the bromance so much. I kid you not, the word bromance does not do justice to the relationship they have 😭 They're literally soulmates! 😭πŸ₯Ή Even one of them said it himself. And the other (tho not explicitly) was asked to describe the love he has for the other but paused bc he couldn't find the right words to describe his love for him. But if you watch it, you're going to see so much of that. The way they look at each other is so full of love 😫 Even when they think about each other, their eyes speak volume. I am still NOT over them even tho it's been almost a year. I still can't even describe in words how good both Neo and Tian Jiarui acted. It was beyond incredible. No words can do justice to describe it. They have soooo much chemistry than any other couple I've ever seen. The first half is going to be more bickering. Second half you will see their relationship deepen and will get deeper and deeper as you watch. I personally was not into the straight romance so I felt those romance scenes forced PERSONALLY (those who ship them plz don't come at me 😭 I still respect those who share a different opinion from me tho) but thankfully the scenes were few. It felt like the story really revolved between the two MLs bc of the grudge one has for the other and that's how their relationship grew so much. It's like one (Yichen) starts to gradually feel closer to the one he always wanted to kill (Yuanzhou) but in the end does not want to kill him anymore. And Yuanzhou always wanted to die bc of all the bad things he did (which were not his fault btw) as he always felt so guilty and in pain but in the end bc of Yichen, he does not want to die anymore (he is legit scared to die)... and I won't tell you the ending. It is a vow, are they going to eventually commit to it despite their strong feelings for each other? Don't worry, ending is hopeful in the special episode... πŸ™πŸ» It really shows them as end game for sure πŸ₯Ή

Yess, actually while watching the latest few episodes, I get that feeling of JC and Xiao Yiren, especially since…
You're so right. To think both brothers are also sect leaders.... and the only supportive sibling of his is his non-blood related sister (just like Yanli) 😭 It was so sad what happened to her and her husband. He really didn't mean it but its true he was the cause bc Weiying lost control of Wenning 😭

Yeah evidence really keeps coming for these two! It's kinda still really sad how Yiren still kept hurting Qiushui even after he sacrificed himself to prove his innocence tho :( why blame him again. I know it's part of the plot but if the brothers listened at the very moment he talked about this with them, I feel like a prevention would have been so possible (unless that AI system sucks and won't even allow him despite that change hdksjsksks). The brothers need to blame themselves for once and LEARN, instead of blaming it all on Qiushui, who is always putting the blame on himself when it's not his fault. If he was sect leader he would've surely stopped it unlike these two stubborn brothers!!! Yiren is mostly at fault for not believing in Qiushui early enough

I am so curious about this new villain! I'll look forward to it. I hope Qiushui and Chenzhou fight alongside each other against him! Also if this happens, wouldn't the Huanhua Sect and the Power Gang be like teaming up instead of staying as enemies? The thought of it excites me! Can't wait for Qiushui's revenge too. Hope he fights for himself. Reminds me of the time Weiying and Jiang Cheng fought with their swords to each other. I NEED Qiushui to do the same without any hesitation. Give your brothers worse than what they gave you!!!

We'll see tmr!

Watching this for Cheng Yi. Originally, I just wanted to watch Fox Matchmaker but the show never dropped so I…
I agree with you. Now that you say it, we rarely EVER see dramas where the bad guys win. In this drama, it's so different. They don't follow the usual which I love. But I can't wait to see the good guys winning in the end, or maybe this Power Sect isn't as bad as they all say... there seems to be a new REAL villain on the loose so I'm wondering how that's gonna add up to the story... I need to see Li Chenzhou's backstory. I'm really curious why he chose to follow this path. I rlly have a feeling there is smth deep behind it...

Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels the romance is forced (well, technically, there isn't even romance yet actually lol). Them trying to lean into romance a bit (like Tang Fang having some feelings) does feel forced tho just bc Qiushui is showing NO signs whatsoever that he is interested in her (bc he has so many other things to focus on). He is also only protecting her in the first place bc it was Tang Rou's last wish :( Every time he brings it up, not wanting to disappoint him, it makes me miss Tang Rou even more. I wish Tang Rou was still there. I'd be shipping them both even more if he hadn't died so early. Their last moment eye-to-eye, hand-to-hand was just smth... there was so much chemistry in that? Idk how to explain it... but yeah, whenever the director tries to hint some kind of romance, it feels so out of place. Idk how Tang Fang can gain these feelings this fast and they barely spent time together too for it to develop. Qiushui has a lot going on, trying to fix everything and stop all the bad things from happening. He has no time for romance. I can't imagine if romance got in the way for him. Without it feels a lot more natural and more preferred for me.

I don't agree with you on JC/Untamed at all.. WTFH are you watching when you were watching the 'The Untamed'...…
You're right, sorry if I offended you 😭😭😭 And I see what you mean. You're right that everything stemmed from jealousy with the both of them. Really sad to see both brothers like this. And for Jiang Cheng, you're right. It doesn't stem from there (demonic cultivation) but he does start to put his anger towards him more after he started using it (as an excuse to pour more hatred towards him). I wrote this in one sitting so I didn't really look back at what I wrote, I'm so sorry 😞πŸ₯²

As a huge CQL fan, I am just really sad to be witnessing another person being betrayed by the whole world and only a few friends are by his side including his sister too :( I always wanted to protect my Weiying at all costs and now I want to protect Qiushui at all costs too.

I have yet to watch Ep.18 but wow... betrayal going from left to right. I genuinely feel Yiren was written so terribly. His character feels sooo out of character. He looked like a really good brother but suddenly they make him so bad as to not trust his own brother by blood? He was so happy when he found out he's alive only to what? Betray and hurt him again? Did he never reflect on his regrets? It just feels wrong to me. I will never trust him ever again. What were the writers thinking, it feels out of line with the script 😭 (btw I am only writing this after what ppl are saying about him... I haven't even watched it yet 🫠)

Yeah, Yiren reminds me of Jiang Cheng a lot but Yiren is a lot worse cuz idk his reasoning why he still treats Qiushui like that. While for Jiang Cheng, idk but one of reasons he turned against Weiying is when he started using his flute as a sorcery to fight instead of his sword which was like seen as bad and evil. It's also the fact that Weiying hid why he did this which grew their relationship even more apart (those who watched it would know). And omg I remember the look on Weiying's face when his brother continued doubting him and not trusting him and hurting him πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’” Sheesh, this is like the same from Qiushui to Yiren 😭😭😭😭 Both brothers really tested my patience so hard hdksjsksks (well Yiren is testing me rn but I'll prob never forgive him... hopefully I'm wrong about that tho...)

Anyways, it's like going through The Untamed again but not completely but yeah Qiushui reminds me of Weiying, in a way that the whole world betrays him, only having a few trustworthy and loyal friends AND SISTER by his side. Yk Tang Rou is the most loyal one to me of Qiushui's still even tho he is not physically there so the writers killing him off still makes me disappointed. I am only hoping a reset where Qiushui can change his fate for a happy ending of the Shenzhou Sworn Brotherhood 😭 It just feels VERY empty without him! The squad doesn't feel the same after he left us πŸ˜’πŸ’”πŸ’”

I lowkey hope Qiushui turns kinda evil in a way like Weiying does after being bashed and hated on a lot by a lot of people... Weiying doing this is so understandable and I was so happy he stood up for himself even if it meant that way. Now I am waiting for the moment Qiushui finally does this cuz he is way too nice. Not even saying any bad thing to his brothers like whatttt???? He needs to really give all those people back (no even more than twice as much) what they gave him. I need to see this side more 😭😭😭😭 I lowkey hope Li Chenzhou becomes like Lan Zhan and turns to his side and becomes his most loyal companion (or even soulmate) πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»

Honestly, if Tang Rou hadn't died so early, I think him and Qiushui would have been my favorite ship in this drama. I feel like no one protects and loves Qiushui as much as he does :( If he was still alive, he'd be standing up for his sworn brother no matter what. I can feel it. Not many people probably thought about it, but when I rewatched this scene again just to upload it (link below), I noticed how Tang Rou only looked at Qiushui during his VERY final moments (while holding onto his hand so tightly bc he seems so scared of letting it go and leaving him). That isn't to say the others don't mean a lot to him, but if you watched Fangs of Fortune, you might understand what I mean. That the one you look at last is the person most precious to you in your heart (at least that's how I perceive it bc they look so scared of dying as they do). The one you would be willing to do anything for. I still cry over Tang Rou. Whenever Qiushui mentions him, it makes me cry. Just the mention of his name makes me cry. And the fact that Qiushui wants to fulfill Tang Rou's last wishes no matter what? The way he tries to protect his sister bc he doesn't want to disappoint his brother Rou? Ahhh, this is just... idk why I'm crying just writing this. Why can't we just get Tang Rou back like plz I need a reset so that he comes back alive and is there to stand up for and protect our Qiushui who is suffering so hard rn πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜’πŸ’”πŸ’” I just know seeing this would really break Tang Rou's heart to the point that I feel like he wouldn't want to leave him bc he'd be so worried about him 😭😭😭
