Yeah, same... that drama, and the chemistry hits different. Idk what it is with them but man, their chemistry was CHEMISTRYING! And the whole friend group too ofc! Smth about the way Yuanzhou and Yichen look at each other with so much strong emotions just... idk, those feelings just hit hard inside you.

Anyways, enough of that talk lol! Yes, I learnt about how GJM likes to put BL elements in his movies/dramas. I didn't know this before watching FoF so I wasn't expecting to feel any of that at all but when I did, I learnt about how he is known for doing that. I haven't looked at his other works besides MJTY if I'm not wrong. I should def go look into the ones you've mentioned (I do know about them but haven't gotten around to watching them yet). My sister did watch Yin-Yang Master movie tho. We are both not really movie watchers (bc we focus so much on dramas) but we do wanna try watching some from time to time so I'll def try to give those a shot maybe this year!

Yeah, VoS and Hidden Shadow are like both part of my most highly anticipated dramas ever! So sad that HS hasn't come out yet and it was said to months ago oof! I can't wait for VoS to air (bc man, the cast is insane. and it was also my first ever drama where I was looking forward to reuters everyday lol). I can't wait for the time they start releasing some clips and trailers of it, like omg, I need it so bad! 😭 (I be shipping Rui (Yichen -> Ji Ling) and Yan's (Li Lun -> Li Jie) characters so bad lol) I can so def tell both these dramas are gonna have FoF vibes to them... esp the outfits LOL! And ofc, GJM's camerawork like he is so good at it!

yeah he's dubbed unfortunately. and in Shadow Love he is also dubbed. One of the trailers have him dubbed in the same as Ao Ruipeng in Moonlight Mystique and Coroner's Diary and I'm quite sad about it oof... I watched him in 'My Journey To You' and 'Fangs of Fortune' first and I just love his voice. Idk why directors don't want actors to dub themselves. GJM is the only one I know who never gets his actors dubbed... I wished more were like him in this aspect oof

YESSSS, FoF I've been so obsessed with that since during the airing ksdjfhkjdsfjk I remember looking so forward to the drama and I didn't expect to be so obsessed with the MLs relationship. I didn't expect any BL at all and more of a love triangle 😭 and I remember my whole timeline being all about them LMAOOO but nowadays, not many talk about the two in the comments section and idk why oof

Anyways, it's okay. I don't really accept friend requests either unless maybe I see that the person has similar drama tastes as me. But I guess it depends. Don't worry, I won't spoil. Depsite a few things I wished were changed/different, the drama was sooo good! And I'll say, Pingjin is one of the best villains I've ever seen. Cuz I don't hate him entirely and feel bad for him at times. I saw ppl even say they think Zanghai has more chemistry with him than FL and ngl, I do agree 😅

Omg I just finished that on the 5th this month (so during TWD airing) and I really loved that drama! The only thing I wasn't super into was the romance (which was fortunately not shown much) bc it felt a bit too fast and forced that idk how they fell in love. But I love how Zanghai put revenge first. That's what I was watching it for lol... but there was another thing that I wished (was changed lol but I won't say it cuz it's a big spoiler)

LMAO same! I never pause so much for a drama just to try and understand it but in this one, I did it so much. I can't count how many times I had to rewind to reread what they just said to understand each clue and detail 😆 If you don't understand it, then you're gonna miss the details from later episodes and you'll be confused LOL what an amazing drama to watch during airing and become detectives with you all, without getting spoiled esp the big things in the end (bc it was airing) 😭😂 I'd hope no future viewers get spoiled bc that would be the worst 💔💔💔

Even tho some of us have guessed that the masked man in one of the first eps looked like Tongshuang, it still shocked me when they revealed it cuz it's hard to accept 😭 Even tho Tongshuang being Yesha was one of my biggest guesses, it still caught me off guard. I was expecting it to be Beiming's brother more (not expecting TS to be his brother actually) 😭

This is especially bc my guesses of who Yesha would be was either Tongshuang OR Beiming's brother (mostly the latter cuz I thought it'd be someone we didn't know, like his twin I thought lmaooo), but they both end up being the same person like CRAZY
