All versions are so good idk what to choose. His flirty version is so iconic! But dang, his 2nd half is no joke too. I can tell Neo worked super hard in this role of his bc I mean, thinking about his personality irl he is very different from Zhao Yuanzhou 😭 Idk how he does it but the more I watch him, the more impressed I am with him... and the more I am proud of him, and the more I fall in love with him. He is insane. I still can't with the way he and Rui look at each other. Their acting is on another level you could tell they love and care so much about each other 😭🥺☹️

you prob already saw the backstory of li lun and yuanzhou (a lot goes on in Ep.19 lol) like yes, they used to be exes (we all say it lmaooo) but they broke up and now it's yichen with yuanzhou 😭😭😭 this love triangle is so popular amongst us fans LOL!!! Like it's the way Yichen helps fight Li Lun for Yuanzhou and Yuanzhou sides with Yichen NOT Li Lun. But anyways, that scene was really sad (ep.19) 😭 And like the way Yichen could've chosen to not fight with him after Yuanzhou wanted to deal with Li Lun himself... but he chose to like wow! Yuanzhou's reaction was so funny tho 😅

Yesss like my sister said above, all 8 of the main supporting cast all sing their own OSTs (well, besides the Pei Siblings who sing a duo together) which makes the OSTs even more special! Its not any day you see it. The only other drama close to it that I can think of is TU. Both dramas have a lot of the cast singing them while a decent amount of others sung by other singers. And nothing can beat FoF OST for me and this is not me being biased. The OSTs are just so incredibly beautiful. At the end of each episode, you will see the cast dancing to a song and its all 8 of them singing the song (yes the squad song). We all say this is the only ending credits we didnt skip unlike other dramas where we dont care to watch the ending credits 🤭

The last scene will tell you that Yuanzhou loves Yichen (AND VICE VERSA) sooooo much (both ep.34 and ep.34.5 [special episode]) 😭 We all were talking about it 😭😭😭😭

The sad demonic Zhuyan to the comedic Zhao Yuanzhou to the lovingly gazing ZYZ to the emotional, serious, touching, worried, heartbroken Zhao Yuanzhou 😭😭😭😭 MY NEO DID SOOOOO WELL AND I WILL NEVER STOP PRAISING HIM FOR THAT!!!!!

You are gonna cry alongside them 😭 The way they look at each other.... smiling, crying while looking into each other's eyes.... I even remember Neo said in an interview before that whenever he would film scenes with Tian Jiarui, he would get CHILLS!!!! Thats how much chemistry there is that even the actors be feeling them themselves!!!!

And idk if you wanna know yet but there was a scene that felt like a marriage scene LOL! I just love that their scenes are sooooo long like 10+ minutes at times which is just their conversations together ALONE with NO ONE ELSE!!! Only the two of them!!!! It's already confirmed they love each other so much. No one looks at you in the eye like that unless you're so in love with them 😭 The amount of times they smiled at each other in those lovingly gazes.... and held out their own hand for each other.... and protected each other... and cried worrying for each other. They really didnt want each other to die 😭😭😭😭 Gosh I needa rewatch this soon! I'm really caught up with my feelings rn.... 😩😩😩

And after you finish, I won't be surprised if you just wanna rewatch it again lol.... many of us wanted to and it took me MONTHS to finally get over it... many months passed and I would still think about this drama every single day, listen to the OSTs ONLY and nothing else.... and watched so many Neo/Ruirui BTS clips and rewatched so many scenes... even covered so many OSTs of theirs too and I'll be posting another one soon lol.... I'm almost finished in covering every actor/character OST 😂 Thats just how obsessed how I am with the drama XDDDD it's my most fav ever alongside TU and they're the only two dramas where all (FoF) or even almost all (TU) the main and main supporting cast sing their own OSTs!

I'm gonna keep this short (welp, that didn't end up short prob bc I'm too obsessed with ZYZ x ZYC XDDD - writing this after finishing it lmao) but when I first started this, I was not expecting any BL elements AT ALL! I went into it without any of those expectations WHEN it started airing. Mind you, I was watching this RIGHT AFTER I finished watching WoH and then my rewatch of The Untamed. So I was in shock that I felt like I was watching another BL for the third time in a row... During that time, I was like, "Is this fate like... was this meant to happen?" As I watched FoF more and more, I was like, "Why does it feel so BL???" 2nd half, you are gonna see so much of the 2 MLs chemistry grow even stronger, it's INSANE. Ngl, I wasn't into the straight romance in this drama and I was just shipping Zhuo Yichen and Zhao Yuanzhou lol. I feel like the story really revolved around them mainly. I see that you love BL/GL (from looking at your page) and this drama has a lot of that especially BL. And the girls you can ship too lol! I ship the two guys and the two girls more than the straight romance tho the bickering between the two was fun to watch too. Everyone is pretty shippable in this drama. Sometimes I even question if the MLs really like the FL like that just bc what they feel for each other feels so much stronger but this is my overall opinion (and I still support/respect those who may be different from me) and I remember watching during airing and many people were shipping ZYZ x ZYC together too 🤭

There are so many subtle hints that show how they feel about each other (including their eyes, the way they act towards each other, sacrifice themselves for each other, etc.). It's the fact that Yichen's goal was to take revenge for his father and brother and the one who ended up killing him was Yuanzhou (when he was unconscious)... But in the end, when they grow closer and Yichen starts to understand him slowly, he says "I am the only one who can kill Zhao Yuanzhou!!!" WHENEVER there are some ppl who just want him killed already bc he doesn't want anyone else to kill him AND doesn't want him to die so he wants that responsibility to make sure it doesn't happen bc lowkey in his heart, he wants to prevent it from happening (his death) bc of the relationship they built together :( For Yuanzhou, he only wants Yichen to kill him and no one else (that is what he always wanted). If that ain't love, then idk what is... bc wouldn't you rather want someone you love to kill you instead of someone else who harbors hatred towards you (and for no other reason for killing you)? He wants to die to help Yichen achieve his goal :( You will even see in a later episode where Yuanzhou tries to sacrifice himself for Yichen when he is in danger (which literally focuses on these main two)... the BL element in this drama is so real and no joke. In the end, bc of Yichen, Yuanzhou doesn't want to die anymore... he has always wanted to die because of the guilt he harbors towards himself in killing so many innocent people (when it wasn't in his full control)... now after building such a strong deep relationship with Yichen (who later understands and forgives him which in turn gives him the strength to forgive himself as well), he wants to live! But the end goal was to always get him killed right...? imagine the pain they feel thinking about how this moment may have to eventually come??? I honestly won't spoil you if you don't know what the ending is.

I'll be honest. I've seen people question how people see BL in this drama and I'm sorry, but to those who don't see it... "are we watching the same drama?" Their eyes tell everything. Watch, you will see the way they look at each other... it's so strong that it's so obvious. So many of us airing viewers kept saying "HOW DID THIS PASS CENSORSHIP?" "Idk how this passed censorship but I'm not complaining!" Idk if you call this a big or small spoiler (read at your own risk) but there was even an MPREG scene mentioned XDDDD

Bonus: I swear, the special episode really shows that ZYZ x ZYC are end game 😭

Also dang, this is a TMI but I watched the trailer and the MV before watching the drama and when I rewatched them, I was shocked to see some strong BL elements in both (esp in the MV) that I'm shocked that I didn't realize it before!

Ngl, when Songyi's song played, I only guessed it might've been her even tho this is my first time watching her (I knew nothing of her before this)... I was like, "I wonder if this is Songyi singing (maybe bc of her voice in the drama haha)," just casually and I can't believe I guessed correctly... she sounds so beautiful omg 🥺🥺🥺 I wasn't expecting Cheng Lei to have his own OST, he sounds soooo beautiful!!!! Lemme say... Neo stole the spotlight. Even tho he wasn't shown THAT much, his role feels more like a ML role to me bc of how he is written but also bc of his acting maybe? His story is much more interesting.... his comedy doesn't feel forced at all... he just feels more enjoyable to watch that I wished he was the main character :(

I've watchined 24 episodes, and the ML for some reason doesn't catch my eye and his comedy isn't really doing it for me. At first, I didn't really think about it much but I'm starting to feel it more lately for some reason. And whenever there's danger, why doesn't he just use his own powers right away? He's literally so powerful! What's holding him back? It really annoys me that he's doing it so late that people are getting hurt already! Like why??? Idk I just find it frustrating

Wangye is the best here. Whenever he doesn't appear, I always miss him! I look forward to every single scene of his. Neo and his comedy is always so fun to watch! I never get bored of him! My favorite parts of this show are Wangye and Zhuge Qing (and ofc Baobao lol)! Love the relationship between these two. The best ship frrr!!!
