I hope Liu Sui Feng (who we thought was Feng Lang) becomes another Yesha who secretly stayed by the friend's side but will start to truly love and care for them as time passes by when their friendship strengthens π
Woahhhh, I'm on Ep.4 and I was really rooting for Feng Lang and Mingming to get close but wasn't expecting him to NOT be Feng Lang π I mean I wasn't really 100% sure from what I remember from the trailer whether our Xu Zhenxuan was on his side or Li Chenzhou's but I was thinking the latter... well to those who did watch 'The Wanted Detective' (dont read if you didnt watch) let's hope he becomes another Yesha who truly loved his friends tho he was the villain the whole time π

Honestly idk but I've been reading comments here of people calling it low budget and how they're really disappointed in it... I myself don't see it bc to me it looks so beautiful! I love the scenery and I love how everything is captured. I also love the outfits and the martial arts scenes. Idk how ppl are not liking it. Sometimes it feels like we are watching smth different.
And actually, for MLC, I remember when it was just new and wasn't sure if I'd like it (tho I saw the rating was really high) bc the budget did look low to me. But in the end, I ended up loving it to the point that I rated it 10! Thank goodness I didn't delay much in watching it when I found out about it in late 2023 to early 2024.
I know it's too early to say this but I've always thought I'd rate this (fushanhai) a 10 and so far it is a 10/10 for me rn haha, hopefully it does not change. It will be my 3rd Chengyi drama I'm rating 10 if that's the case! Also, what makes me love this drama even more is that I'm feeling so much nostalgia from when I watched MLC like over a year ago, a drama that I miss so much! And some of the OSTs (including the intro song + Chengyi's) are giving MLC too which I love sm ππ₯Ή

As someone who loves MLC, I am so loving this drama. I already knew from the trailer it gave so much of that vibe. And I am so loving Ming Ming. He really reminds me of Li Lianhua due to his comedic self π The way I only finished the first episode and I am enjoying every bit of it! I am surprised for those who find it boring... but anyways 10/10 so far (I know thats way too early lmao but this is like my most anticipated drama of the year alongside Shui Long Yin lol)....

As a shipper of the two male leads... who can see the love in their eyes for each other... well, it feels like a BL to me lol. If you'd like to watch it for that, then you def should watch it (despite the ML having a romantic partner). Their chemistry is INSANE! I be crying and smiling every time I watch them on screen together (in the second half)... (they actually do cry and smile at each other A LOT hahaha I can't even keep count how many times they did... THEY WERE LITERALLY SO IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER!) Yuanzhou is such a flirt in the first half LOL!
So many of us were shipping the 2 MLs while it was airing and wow, it was the best feeling ever!!! I can never forget that feeling! And every time an episode comes, we are like "HOW DID THIS PASS CENSORSHIP???" "IDK HOW THIS PASSED CENSORSHIP BUT I'M NOT COMPLAINING..." Also, the last scenes of Ep.34 + special episode I swear indicate that they are end game π
Personally, I am not a Wen Xiao x Yuanzhou shipper but I will say I do love their bickering. I just don't ship them romantically if yk what I mean... I personally do find the romance forced (well... maybe cuz the MLs' chemistry was INSANE????) but this is just me and many others love the romance a lot so don't let this stop you from watching it. You can literally just ship anyone with anyone! So many great ships in this drama. There's even GL hehe. I really love the 2 girls (Wen Xiao x Pei Sijing). I ship them too haha
Like someone said above, the 2 MLs are literally actually soulmates. ML said it himself! He called 2ML his soulmate!!!! π₯Ήπ₯Ήπ₯Ή And there's also literally a scene where when asked, Yichen could not explain the love he has for Yuanzhou (it wasn't explicit but I already knew he was thinking about Yuanzhou when trying to find the words to describe it but just couldn't bc his love for him runs that deep π)....
Ngl, I rant way too much when it comes to these two... I have so much more to say (I usually type more I gotta admit lol) but lemme stop here for now before it gets even longer! XDDD. Hope you watch this and the relationship between the 2MLs grow. The friendship is also sooo beautiful and you will love sooo many characters in this drama (which may even include the villain cuz so much of us love him lol) :)
unfortunately it is going to get sad in the second half so prepare for that! I really love the comedy in the beginning, I won't forget it. But the sad parts too I loved tho tho they made me cry a lot lol. But I hope you won't drop it just bc of that. It's a really good drama :)

so true! LOTFG was very boring to me (sorry to those who love it but it just wasn't for me and the plot was so messy, even the romance couldn't do it for me unfortunately). But wow, the chemistry here is INSANE likeeee... the way I smile, heart fluttered, but even cry buckets of tears so many times bc of them??? WOW! The love in their eyes is to die for. I really feel like I'm interrupting every moment of theirs XDDD!!!! Cheng Lei's best chemistry yet with an actress. It's gonna be hard to get over this CP haha. Been awhile since I watched a really good romance drama with this much chemistry that just made me fall in love with their love story.
