Ikrrrr I question if we are really watching the same thing.... like I see a lot of ppl say the drama is only aesthetics and bad writing and not a good (or confusing) plot.... i see hit tweets about it on twitter (meaning many ppl agree) and I'm just like?????? The plot and writing is so good to me like idk if I'm just stupid to not know what bad writing is but this drama is sooo interesting (okay but trust me, I've watched a lot of dramas and can tell when a writing is really bad and the plot ain't it and this ain't one of them.... personally it's one of the most interesting and unique ones out there) !!!! Like so far I have been loving the writing a lot so much and I ain't exaggerating!!!! Like I get every funny scene and they make me laugh, then I get emotional in the sad ones cuz the actors act them out so well. But rlly, the plot is so interesting and makes me hooked and it makes me want to know more about the characters, their backstories, and the different identities with each of them (the main 5). We never see this in a drama with them all being sooo interesting! None of them are annoying or uninteresting to me. I rlly wanna get to know them more! And thats when I know I am hooked into the plot and the characters!

I haven't gotten up to that part yet but I am rlly looking forward it! These two are gonna prove me wrong (they already did tho since the trailer) bc during reuters I wasn't sure if I would like them but I am starting to LOVE THEM even more now 🥹

Yeah I feel like it has a different vibe but I guess its just some of us who feel that 🤷🏻‍♀️ I love how both dramas have its own color to it 💜 But both are undeniably so beautiful and mesmerizing to look at. And yes this one def feels faster than FoF (which I also RLLY loved)

As someone who always praised and loved Rui for his acting, it makes me so happy to see everyone praising him in the VoS comments section 🥺 He really deserves all this recognition he's getting! Each time he acts, every character he plays, he never plays them the same. They're always so different that they don't even feel like the same person playing them. From Yuanzhi to Yichen and now so many different ones here... it's rlly insane how he does them but he does. He is so good at differentiating each role. He knows when and how to change his mannerisms and gestures for each one to fit the character.... the way he cries, smiles, laughs are all so different too. And his microexpressions are always sooo on point. You can already feel how he is feeling just through his eyes alone. I will never stop praising him for these and that's why he will always be considered one of my most favorite actors ever if not my favorite (is it safe to say he has lowkey been my fav for more than a year now tho lol I just have other favs too haha, but I rlly think he is my #1), I just love him so much and I'll never get over sharing the same birthday with someone I love this much (yes, my bday is Dec. 4) 😭🥺 Each bday will always be a very special one bc of him :( Thank you, Rui, for choosing acting and showing us what acting is rlly all about, bringing your characters to LIFE with your understanding of them ❤️ And your singing too... every time, I am always looking forward to hearing your beautiful vocals bc you sound sooo beautiful and I wanna say I am so proud!!! I'm not even gonna lie but it's probably my favorite song of his now like it is just insanely good. Like not only does our boy have crazy acting skills, but his singing skills have been improving each song he sings and it just makes me so proud! He amazes me every single time!!!! I am sooo in awe just listening to his voice 😭 Not to mention, he even sings the opera part too which is just INSANEEEE!!!! Also, the way he hits all those high notes so effortlessly and beautifully is just... WOWWW. He sounds so beautiful, I just can't stop praising him! Yeah he is insane. Like he's got insane acting skills. No character he plays are the same! It makes me question like how can one person act all these different characters alone? I'll never stop praising him for it. That's why I consider him as one of my most favorite actors if not my favorite (nah he's got to be my fav tho like actually, I be looking forward to every work of his since I watched him in MJTY).... P.S. haha I can't help but fall so much in love with him after FoF... after watching MJTY I rlly loved him too and was so happy when I found out he has the same bday as me so whenever it's my bday, I always remember it's his too and to be able to celebrate it together every year is really a special thing to me 🩵 Like I rlly loved him as an actor watching MJTY but after watching FoF did I become a much biggee fan of him. I watched reuters everyday on VoS (never did that for a drama before) and I knew he'd be playing so many diff characters too and was amazed by watching him through those videos alone. He never disappoints me ❤️‍🔥 You can't deny his acting skills 🫶🏻

You should check out Tian Jiarui's (Ji Ling actor) other works, My Journey To You and Fangs of Fortune. He plays completely different characters in those dramas too. And when I say it doesn't feel like the same person at all, it doesn't. The personality, the mannerisms... the way he cries, laughs, smiles, etc... it's all so different like each person having its uniqueness to them. And his characters in those two dramas are so different from the ones he plays here too. Not to mention, I'm not sure how many different identities he's playing in VoS but I'd say about 4-6 maybe? This boy never disappoints me and I'll never stop praising him and this is his 3rd work only (his debut already started off sooo strong)!

For Yanan (Li Jie actor), you gotta check out Fangs of Fortune. He is a completely different person there! He's a villain (named Li Lun)! You'll be amazed with the actor Yanan. You'd be in shock they were both played by the same person! Especially bc that was only his 2nd drama (like TJR). And this one is his third as well alongside Tian Jiarui. (Basically both Tian Jiarui and Yanan have the same 2nd and 3rd dramas haha) Let's also look forward to Li Jie's other identity "Yuan Wuhuo" an evil/cold character! He'll be slaying it for sure :)

I agree everyone is doing so well in their acting tho. And the cinematography and everything is really sooo good, not to mention the outfits and styling being so incredibly pleasing as well as the martial arts choreography. And ofc, the plot too. That can't be forgotten! Very different from GJM's other dramas which is rlly nice! Really looking forward to more of this!

I agree with y'all like the rating ain't it but ofc it's mostly haters downrating the drama. Let's rate each episode as we watch so we can increase it. It definitely deserves a lot more than it has bc the plot is already interesting from the get-go (been hooked since the start of ep.1 already) and just thinking about all these different identities of the characters and whatnot makes me even more invested in future episodes. I am looking so forward to more! The dynamics between the characters are also so nice to watch. I especially love Ji Ling x Li Jie and Wu Shiguang x Wangyan! I'm still behind but I'm gonna try binging more episodes tmr since I don't have work. This investigation is really worth "investing" my time to lol (see what I did there XD)... let's just enjoy this ride guys! :)

I didn't watch much but man I am already invested since episode 1! I LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH!!!! I was watching all the reuters during filming but the beginning is really different from what I was anticipating but I'm srsly loving it soooo much! The wait was really worth it! I am so excited to watch more of this!!!
