AveX responded to criticism about what she said last week about this drama. Honestly, she makes some sound points. I still like this drama, but I definitely see the issues surrounding the lead characters’ first meeting that gives mature individuals pause and concern. Even the novel said he “felt excited” when he first met her in chapter 2, and this being the case when he thought she was younger than even 13. The drama tames it down. The point of the drama, from my perspective, was to thoroughly convey a young girl’s heart and feelings for her crush. I don’t think an impure motive is intended. But, the novel itself, its intent—not entirely pure, I suspect.
But there nothing for PG or PG-13 )) at the best there will hint for bed scene 🤣
“My Little Happiness” captured the “spice” and the passion very well while remaining PG. I expect no less from “Hidden Love.” It’s not an impossible, incongruous feat.

Not looking for nudity whatsoever. I said “spice.” The novel had extremely spicy sweet and heartfluttering moments as the relationship progressed. I’m no cdrama newbie. I understand how things work with censorship and all. I just wish the swoon-worthy passion of the novel and the ML’s cheeky, sexy flirtatious behavior was properly captured. The drama is nailing the chemistry so far. Just keep up the momentum, all I’m saying.
Someone help me I keep viewing him as her brother instead of her future boyfriend. I want to keep watching because…
Someone who is not biological kin to you and lives under a roof and household is not your brother, plain and simple. It’s easy. He’s a close family friend or close acquaintance. But, ain’t your brother, even if he saw you growing up and called you “kiddo.”
Ooo what kind of passion? 👀 curious as to what id be missing not reading the novel!
Once they start dating, his seduction over time is just very well executed. There’s a progressive development of intimacy. He wastes no time asking for what he wants. He’s cheeky and direct. But, there’s still a patience and a gentleness in his approach. The sexy dialogue—woww. “Open your lips. I want to kiss you.” “Let’s get each other excited.” “Do you like it?” He makes it clear that he wants her, but he doesn’t push her. He’s a total horndog, but he’s still tender with it. He knows how to hug and cherish her. He gives her both sweet forehead kisses and passionate tongue-down-her-throat kisses and much more.
Ok, I nearly finished the novel. There’s no way the drama is going to be nearly as steamy as the novel. No way. Very intrigued to see how or if they are going to depict all that passion.
