IKR đŸ˜Œ, this kind of tension gives me anxiety though
ughh, we’ve got a wild ride ahead of us before we get our happily ever after, but I love it đŸ˜»

Yeah, I feel like we missed something in the hotel room.
Maybe we will get some more info about the hotel room incident in ep 3.

I lowkey want the queen mother to be in love with Yi An, that would be so fucking weird, and she'll crash out…
She’s probably attracted to him even though she resents him. She’s a problem. The way he showed her his body though—I don’t know what to make of that. Why did use that means to mess with her? It’s like he knew that it would affect her.

I wish shows would not do the 'sometimes' epilogue. Either do it every episode, or don't. I thought this episode…
I thoroughly agree.

I hate the female lead. Too arrogant. I preferred the girl from lovely runner
Hate is a strong word. She’s been bullied and belittled by her family and her social circle. She’s had enough. Her arrogance is a defense mechanism. Sometimes people put on an act of bravado, when really they are hurting inside. But, she’s got the skills to back up her arrogance nonetheless—her business acumen has made her wealthy, wins awards, and has saved the family fortune that her incompetent brother would have lost if given the chance. Underneath her “hubris” and flippancy, she has warmth and knows when to yield—just look at how well she interacts with her secretary.

NGL, the Prime Minister made my heart flutter a bit. I am Team Grand Prince 💯 percent. But, the Prime Minister is đŸ”„, yessir—the Director is messing with us. The tropes are troping.

Ok guys, I think we have a certified hit on our hands. Ep 1 was a good start, but I was still dubious. Ep 2 sealed the deal, however. This drama is fabulous! It’s giving me all the feels, all the visuals, and an engaging old-school plot. This is bringing back that classic-Kdrama style of yesteryear. Love it so far. đŸ€© đŸ’•đŸ„°

Why does Lee Yeon look like Song Joong Ki
She looks like Gong Myong to me. They could totally play twins in a drama together. Kim Sae Ron (in Bloodhounds 1) looked exactly like Song Joong Ki.

I need backstory of queen mother, why she is so obsessed with the crown. You can see she hates grand prince but…
She comes from a family tree that has produced four Queens—which means her family has been royalty for probably 200 or more years. She is the bluest of Blue Bloods. So, she’s obsessed because that’s her whole identity (the crown, being a royal), taught to her, drilled into her, since infancy, no doubt. She is immensely proud of that heritage and she’s not about to drop the ball, nor is she going to let her son drop the ball. You best believe she’s going to make sure her son, her family legacy, remains firmly, and fabulously, on the throne come hell or high water. That’s why she’s so obsessed.

I think Kim Tae Hee also did a drama as a royal in modern times. Forgot the name.
