I’ve determined that the Marquis isn’t the main character. The story is really about Fan Changyu’s growth and journey. ZLH seems to have been given first billing just to reel in viewers. But, the story clearly seems to have Fan Changyu as the main character, which I’m fine with. TXW’s knocking it out of the park. It’s disappointing to those who were expecting ZLH to take center stage, however. That’s just not what this show is. That would be a different drama altogether.
