I wonder what he thought she’d ask for. Money? Or something more salacious? I really couldn’t understand what he might’ve been expecting. But, like you said, he was thoroughly thrown off by her humble, thoughtful, and honorable request.

“Under the Power”—my fave of hers. Their chemistry was so good. The way he looked at her! And, it was so funny. She shines best in comedic moments. She’s really hilarious.

I get the impression that her parents absolutely knew about it when they married her off, hence her father’s slapping the living daylights out her and kicking the hell out of Shaoze upon seeing that they still have something going on..
