Beautiful Drama ♥️♥️♥️ But Why Promotion of This Drama is Weak?
Because it’s not an S+ drama therefore it doesn’t get the royal promotion like the heavyweight dramas. I’ll betcha his drama “Mo Li” will get promoted out the yin-yang when it’s time for it to be released. Nobody (the producers and whatnot) really expected a lower-tier drama like “Shadow Love” to do as well as it has.
Ahhh, I’ve seen bits of Eternal Love (the steamy bits on YouTube 🙈🙈). It’s very popular, but I never watched it, just a few episodes. Regardless, that gives me a good idea of what to expect. Ok, thanks, I can rest assured now. This drama is in good hands.
james acting out the old man was absolutely hilarious lol
This actor’s versatility is outstanding. He’s making the show for me. FL is the boss and the brains of the operation with her wildly successful plots and bizarre uber-advanced schemes. But, he’s the quiet strength. He seems to be the grounding factor.
This drama was good. Great remake of “Marry My Husband.” Covers the intricacies of the plot quickly in short 10-minute episodes, but doesn’t skim over the details at all. Heavier and not as funny as “Marry My Husband” but still very, very good. It gets a bit cheesy and cringe towards the end, but overall, a good watch. I found the FL quite engaging. The ML was a bit flat, but his devotion to the FL shines through. His styling was atrocious however.
Because episode 1 didn’t do a great job of drawing in the audience. It was too frenetic and wild, hard to follow. Park Min Young’s character seemed frivolous to me. It was a turn off. I dropped the drama after episode 1 and rated it a 6.5. But, I was bored this weekend with nothing to watch; so, I picked it back up. It’s only in episode 2 that I started to see the character’s depth and layers. Episode 2 starts to reveal her complexity. I am hooked now. I bumped my rating up to an 8.5. The drama is somewhere between an 8 and 8.5 to me now after seeing 4 episodes. The actor playing James is really outstanding. His versatility—wow!
I watched 1 ep too and I don't feel like continuing it anymore🥲 What do u think should I watch more?
Yes, watch episode 2. It was very good. But, if you still don’t like the show, drop it after episode 2. Ep 3 and 4 is a completely new con as the previous con arc in episode 1/2 is completed. But, there is a deeper overall plot tying the whole thing together.
Psychopath? I don’t believe she’s killed anyone. She just cons them.
It’s a personality disorder frequently associated with abnormal violent behavior, most often, serial killing, in media. Her character doesn’t fit that stereotype of “psychopath,” in my opinion, based on what we have seen so far. It’s an odd way for her to describe herself unless there are more components to her complex personality that we haven’t seen yet. She seems to be a person with a sense justice and conscience, of sorts. I see a wee bit of Robin-Hood tendencies in there. She seems to be using her powers for good not evil while having a bit of mischievous fun to boot. True, “normal” people can’t plan and execute massive cons like she does. So, it does indeed require a special sort of mental disposition to do all that she does.
ML character is trash for the way he treated that 2FL he dated. I understand her anger at failed relationship, but just move on, girlie. You dodged a bullet.
Ep 2 was epic. I had dropped it because of ep 1. But episode 2 reeled me back in. Park Min Young’s mischievous enjoyment of all the antics is killer 😆.
The Directors for this are in their sixties (as opposed to popular Directors, like Zeng Qing Jie and Deng Ke, who are in their forties). I wonder what that means for this production. I assume that means there will be a more serious and mature approach to the story development.
Therefore, I’m expecting solid dialogue and content, but perhaps less gratuitous titillation because of these mature Directors. Thoughts? I am not familiar with their other works. Will we get our hot kisses and a scintillating slowburn (that we know these leads can deliver VERY WELL)? Or, will we get something more conservative and family-friendly?
I have every confidence that we will get thrilling intrigue, cunning schemes, and outstanding acting. But, I am also hoping for some 🔥 fire too. I want butterflies 🦋 🦋🦋.
Sooooo excited for this regardless. This is definitely the upcoming drama that I am looking forward to the most.
