Bai Lu said it wasn’t cliche and I trust her - She seems like an actress who knows her rom coms. The snow kiss was her idea, and I suspect she’s the Goblin fan (there was a nod to Goblin in the snow scene and YS/DL fight scene. Also I’ve seen a Tik tok of her dancing to Goblin OST).

He can do smart and calculating or cheeky (TMoPB) very well, so he should play to it. Legend of White Snake was a rubbish role.

Noooo! The misery. I’m not even going to watch that preview. I thought it would be Monday for the break up and we would still have Sunday for sweetness.

I’m on ep 4 and I’m really enjoying it. I previously worried about Alan Yu playing such a weak character but he’s sly and smart, only weak in body, unlike his character in legend of white snake who was a wet blanket. I’m a bit bored by the FL, but I’m assuming there needs to be a character growth arc, so she will get better.

Luo Yun Xi has such a lovely voice. I remember it from Ashes of Love. Now that I’m in love with his voice everything else sounds like chickens squawking.

The flashbacks of the second couples scenes when Li Li was crying only emphasised how pathetic she is to reminisce about experiences he was forced into by her stalking, like there’s anything magical in that. I really don’t like her!!!

Oooooh, I haven’t seen that. I’ve seen the scene where JJ gets her tie back from DL and he cries though.

I’ve been really rooting for him since TMoPB too. He was so charismatic and handsome even though he was a minor character. But yeah, his drama choices as a ML since haven’t really seen him shine.

I don’t get why he picks these roles. He similarly couldn’t fight in The Legend of White Snake. In TMoPB he fights for less than 5 minutes, but I remember thinking he looked really impressive.

We still have 16 episodes to go and I’ve been looking at the stills in the end credits and BTS and I can’t see much of YS. It looks like DL has plenty of scenes with JJ though.

So depressed. The OTP on screen are what I live for. I’ll watch it for sure but without YS there’s a strong possibility a lot of fast forwarding will go on. YS for the win.

He really is excellent! I also noticed he is elegant, I think it must be because he’s a dancer he has great posture. You notice it with Yang Yang too.

He also seems mature, so he’s believable in this role. Also, I noticed he and Bai Lu don’t seem self conscious about their onscreen kissing/flirting, their actions are natural and believable. Lots of Chinese actors are so self aware during intimate scenes that it looks awkward. This drama is the best rom com I’ve seen by far.

In summary, Luo Yun Xi is amazing. Haha
