the novel is sooo good, ive read chasing jade (love it sm i was re reading it when i came across this novel lol) im on chapter 111 and this is my first time knowing the cast lol i was shocked! this is slow burn but will still give you feels!

randomly saw a clip and the plot seems familiar, turns out i was right, i read the novel months ago. but i was SOOO confused cos isn't the male lead blind? that's literally the most important part of the novel and i cant believe they didnt put it in the live adaptation lol

if 2024 was the year of costume dramas, 2025 is definitely year of modern dramas

1. Yes, not so intense, its predictable, they resolved their issues pretty quickly no cold war though
2. Misunderstanding at first but feelings developed (nice pacing though) i dont know who fell first cos they're both down bad for each other
3. No breakups just small fights
4. Definitely yes

In the epilogue, first he died (suicide) then she eventually also died from being a frontline

This love adaptation, i dont think this can cater viewers to be honest lol, aside form novel readers, and fans of the actors/actress, i dont know if the public would like this series, i think its because of the directing and screenwriting. wasted chemistry between the leads

the "not-so-fight-scene" on that subway(?) was more intense in the novel lol, her lines were "I didn't expect you to so staunchly defend the organization behind you. So, Officer Li, do you think it's okay to sacrifice one person for the protection of others, to silence him, to kill his voice? Right. You're a soldier, naturally conditioned to follow and protect your superiors' orders unconditionally. Even if your superior orders you to kill, you'd pull the trigger, wouldn't you?"
