Unpopular opinion: I actually loved the endinggg!!I honestly think it fits the drama’s aesthetic perfectly.…
I’m of the same opinion. But regardless of main leads ending up together or not, the focus of the story is that by dating they were able to influence each other’s lives in a very positive way. She was stuck in a very destructive toxic relationship with her groomer. I wouldn’t even call it a love relationship, she was an industry product that malfunctioned and was put to rest in hopes that it would repair itself and go back to normal. The ML, on the other hand, was also stuck emotionally as well, troubled by guilt, lack of self worth and insecurities. I think that the ending was very fitting for the story, they helped each other and were able to carry on with their lives
I agree the ending was done so that we could give it the meaning that we please. For me, they didn’t end up together. They had a very healing relationship. He got over his first love (he was stuck emotionally for years and was unable to mature properly) and she was a total wreck as well (stuck in a toxic relationship, i would even go as far as to say that she was groomed, it was not a very balanced relationship from the get go, the guy always had the upper hand in all aspects of her life). Because of this relationship, Doona and Lee Won Jun were able to break that spell that they were for so long and move on. She was able to continue with her career in a more healthy way (I’m the boss) and he was able to continue his life and pursue his career without thinking about that girl that that had all kinds of family trauma and issues. In my book that’s a happy ending, being content and functional to go about your day without feeling heavy. That ending, in my opinion, showed that they had become their own person.
people here are complaining and I don’t really get it. This is by far one of the best dramas out there currently airing. I love its style. It’s more than serving scenes for horny people. Love that the story is compelling and fun to follow. All characters are flawed in this drama including the super good-looking main characters. They all have their issues and that’s something that is rare in a drama. I appreciate that the characters aren’t one dimensional and that the story line isn’t simple. For me, so far, this is a 10/10 drama.
I just want to say the comment section of this drama is as interesting as the drama itself. Infact The CS of this…
Toxicity is very welcome hehehe this is such an exiting drama, perhaps not perfect but the main ingredients are there to keep me hooked. It is dangerous, it is fun, it is emotional and overall it is sexy.... fire!
Seven relics of omenBionic lifeYouthful glory were all good character fits
I like fluff too, but it can’t be too generic otherwise it becomes redundant and boring. I just feel like Song Wei Long has the aura for slice of life dramas, in anything else he is not believable or entraining to watch.
If you just got introduced to Son Wei Long the dramas that you should keep an eye for besides this one are: Go Ahead and Find Yourself. All the rest, in my opinion, weren’t a good character fit. He truly shines in the slice of life type of drama. You’re welcome! ;)
