I was scared out of my wits for episode one and two!!! WOW I have not read the webtoon so I'm not sure how it does in comparison but this drama sure is one good hell of a ride~ The characters were all pretty good but I agreed they could have given more context to some parts of the story.

I loved the romance omg the kissing scenes were intense!!! Loved it it was perfect for me! It has been hard finding a romcom that actually gets me to fangirl over the OTP simply because I watched too many romcoms and it has been hard getting into the newer ones. However, this one was truly a gem!!

SL was such a joke. He didn't even investigate his mother's death properly and just assumed our ML was the killer??? Kept doing things to hurt the FL and using her even though he claims to love her. Kept creating misunderstandings for our OTP. I guess there wouldn't be enough plot without him.

I'm a fan of Legend of Yunxi so you can tell how much I was anticipating this. It did not disappoint after all and although the plot isn't the best, it is well executed by our amazing cast!! OTP was great but the second couple was rlly cute as well. Loved all the characters here except for the SL (second male lead). His character was such a joke and extremely annoying oh wells. The synopsis can be a bit misleading though, the dreaming theme wasn't really explored well. Great watch still, I'd give it a 9/10.

I would say watch legend of yunxi first because this one makes references to that.

I absolutely love this drama!!! Maybe it's because I loved all the actors here esp luo yunxi<333 Not much unnecessary angst and an engaging plot supplemented by an amazing cast!

Watch for the cute scenes!! The FL may be insufferable at times but there are so many cute OTPs to ship!! Misunderstandings get resolved pretty fast so it's just a light-hearted romcom

This was so good!! Much better than Ashes of Love in my opinion!! Loved the leads and all the characters, although haochen/ tian di annoyed the heck out of me!!

I really disliked the FL's character. She acts so childishly as if she's the most righteous person in the world and is just so self absorbed. Don't see any chemistry between the leads, the second couple was better imo but I'm going to drop this, don't think it's worth my time. There are way better cdramas out there.

Legit loved all the romance scenes!!! So much SLS I cannot take it anymore!!! Political scenes are meh for me but the two leads makes the drama worth watching!!!

Anyone considering watching this drama, just watch it for Leo Luo YunXi aka Rong Qi!! His acting here is too good to be missed and I can safely say he's my favourite character. Got serious withdrawals because of him when I watched this.

Don't drop it!! The last few episodes are the best parts of the entire show.

I miss the old actress but this is not bad so far. The new actress is decent.

The FL's best friend made the right choice. YuSheng will never be able to give her the sense of security she needs in a relationship. He is not even sure if he can accept all her flaws and shortcomings even though he likes her. He wouldn't even have done anything if not for the appearance of that Italian guy. Sometimes, the one you end up with may not be the man you have loved the most, but the man who deserves you entrusting the rest of your life with.
