I think the writers wanted to probe more on the consequences of "betrayal", a topic which was not really explored in the novel. If so, this is a good addition to the adaptation since the MCs now get to form a new kind of connection between them. This time, the HPS is not the only thing that binds their fate together anymore. After they both reconcile, I'm pretty sure nothing, not even death can break them apart.
It's indeed a frustrating arc but I'm sure this will only strengthen their soulmate bond in the end. This is such a great adaptation and I'm happy to see that there are a lot more people understanding YH's side as well.
But I'm still literally panicking cause that's still an important part of the plot so my senses is also telling we'd get another one near the end.... 🙃
I remember you also drew one for TTEOTM~ Tysm for sharing your talent to us~
This one line from this song in particular is making me so emotional.... "Your heart is where my home is..." I'm definitely not crying just because of this one line... I'm not some softy....no... *cries* ;;-;;
This could also be the scene where Su Ying was pretending to be Tian Yao. She attempted to take the HPS from Yan Hui and still failed.
These things I said are big spoilers LMAO.... I hope it wont ruin your experience watching the drama after knowing about it!
(More spoilers in this thread below. Please read with caution.)
"Yan Hui glanced at him. The two didn't exchange words, but they both understood each other's meaning. "
Their telepathic-like powers was one of the things I loved the most with this fictional couple while reading the novel. I really hope that the adaptation give us a lot more scenes like this.
But anyways, who is this Bai Xiao Sang? I think I don't remember him in the novel.... Don't tell me he's a replacement for my Huan Xiao Yan... ;;-;;
"Falling in love is not an act of will. It is not a conscious choice. The experience may capture us at times when we are definitely not seeking it, when it is inconvenient and undesirable." —M. Scott Peck
We're still far away from 'that' pain & storm y'all. This beautiful slow-burn romance should not be overshadowed by worry. Instead, let's say cheers to this new heartwarming bond they're currently forming together. ❤
