This drama will make us viewers a total wrecking mess. So far, the scenes on the trailers is so in synch with the novel's angst, that I bet even the small changes they made would hurt us even more. April will be a painful but fantastic roller coaster of emotions!

This drama will be double the sadness without curved jade. 😭

Curved Jade played a really significant role in keeping Xi Wu's sanity throughout the novel especially during the Longevity Flower arc. Li Su Su even got depressed when he was gone! I'd be so disappointed if Ye Xi Wu would experience all those pain alone with no one to talk to!

He acts so natural during those scenes, you'd even start to wonder if he's really an immortal! Luo Yun Xi always amazes us with his talent, his dedication to giving great performances is noticeable in all of his shows. He really makes it impossible for me/us to not support him! 👏

Him and Bai Lu is definitely an explosive pairing. Can't wait for more of our Queen Bai Lu's BTS fight/bloody scenes too!

We'll certainly have swollen eyes in the course of watching this drama. After that wedding, we'd still get another heartbreaking scene. "The broken Fuci Bracelet" .... 😭

She was also wearing the wedding dress he made for her at that.... 🥹 This was a big change from the novel and it's much more heartbreaking. 💔

The clownery is finally over! The visuals and CGI is so overwhelming already (and its just a 2 minute trailer!) even more so since we also get to see Luo Yun Xi and Bai Lu's great acting and chemistry once again.

And also every character is exactly what I imagined them to be, villainous and majestic while some heroic and beautiful. Everything's perfect, so excited!🔥

As Gong Ye Ji Wu, he is kind and noble towards SuSu (FL) . But as Xiao Lin, he judges others with bias most of the time, and he always looked at Xi Wu (FL) with scornful eyes.

Novel:

Xiao Lin: "... wore azure colored long robes, has broad shoulders and narrow waist, and his robes were embroidered with colored patterns. At that moment, he was frowning while looking at her."

Gong Ye Ji Wu: "...he was generous, modest, gentle and has always loved her so much with respect."

Seeing that the recent reviews are all good, I'm so looking forward for more to come for me to binge read them all! And to think that not just here, it also got a 7.4 and many good reviews on Douban too, TSL definitely earned it! The drama kept such a lovely pace for 38 episodes, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it reach 8.0 in the future!

As much as I very hope this wish of hers can come true, based on the trailers, I bet it would be a depressing arc for YT. 😢
