Despite not watching all his works, I never-endingly praised him for being always active for his fans despite his busy schedules. It's about time Cheng Yi's almost 12 yrs of uphill battles & giving of outstanding performance in all his works be known to many. 📣 If diligence is a person, its Cheng Yi. It wouldn't even be an exaggeration to say that he's one of the best role model for other public figures.
Truly appreciated the creation of this article @Mon and @AwkwardPotato. Good job!
LBFaD poster displayed a heartwarming kiss/skinship which can also be interpreted as the warm Orchid (Sun= her Hairpin) approaching the cold DaQiang(Dead Tree=Headwear) and saving him.
On the other hand, TtEoTM Part 1 poster hints the viewers that Tan Tai Jin want to entrap Ye Xi Wu (His right hand holding her wrist and left hand, her waist). Specifically, a controlling relationship where one dominates the other in an unhealthy manner. I read the novel and these depressing interpretations were true, sadly. But don't fret, maybe the drama cut down on TTJ and YXW's "unhealthy relationship" trope. :)

Ep22's Lu Yan and DengDeng brought us to a really emotional ride there ... this isn't even a xian xia but it felt like it was because of all that angst 😭
A lot from IS is here, I really missed you guys!
So now it was revealed that DengDeng's body is already 'buried' somewhere. Back in ep1, we heard A Xin saying that a human cannot entirely absorb a spirit's energy core without painful consequences. DengDeng was already weak at that time so it is possible that she was unable to absorb Yun Xi's spirit. So what if the opposite happened?
What if they merged DengDeng's spirit to Yun Xi's spirit instead. Thus, causing Yun Xi to transform into a human form but without any memories from 3k yrs ago. And lastly, making DengDeng now part of Yun Xi.
Additionally, DengDeng throughout the drama, talk about her memories by first mentioning, "I remember my Father told me..." or "My Brother told me...". It was like she only heard about those memories and like someone just brainwashed her into thinking those memories are hers. As for the dream world, we can see that Yun Xi was already bigger than a 3yr old so those memories may actually be hers but in the identity of DengDeng and not as Yun Xi anymore.
And... Who else knew it was Zhang Bi Chen singing in the BGM of ep8? Raise your hands, lets be friends! XD
On another note, had fun watching episode 1. I initially thought this would have a dark vibe considering the angsty feels from the title. Yet this was so light and hilarious to watch. Will definitely look forward for future episodes.
The contrast of the other failed relationships gave us a way to recognize how YY and YD's story was truly beautiful and worthy of watching it develop. Immortal Samsara may not be considered excellent for resolving some of its conflicts but it was the best in presenting the Romance genre.
Immortal Samsara admirably demonstrated the significance of 'balance' in relationships, through the presentation of each couple and character seen by us viewers. Although not everyone can notice these details you gave, they were still really good points that needs appreciation. Especially since it added to the enjoyment of seeing Ying Yuan and Yan Dan portraying "the best display of a healthy and mature relationship".
Millions of Kudos to you for describing these observations perfectly Anlly! I think you could add this on your review. 💕
Honestly, I actually didn't pay too much attention to Esther and Dylan being the male leads since I did not watch any of their series' and only heard about them. But then after watching Ep1-2 when they switched souls, I almost jumped at my seat seeing them both so good at portraying different personalities. I couldn't believe myself for not knowing about these two amazing actors. After finishing the short but truly amazing 36eps, I immediately became a devoted fan of them and lurked on twitter for any posts related to them. I'm also waiting for Esther's next drama, "A romance of a little forest". Now, I'm rewatching LBFAD together with my grandmother. When I told her about this drama and made her watch this, she was blown away by the perfect blend of action, bgm, and romcom(her favourite) that this drama offered. And she told me she never had fun like this ever since she watched AOL, a xianxia she really loved.
Lastly, thank you for adding si ming's quote! I really loved all of her quotes especially the "All that exists is fate, only love is not fate." This is the third review I really liked from you especially after your ALP review (◡‿◡ *)~ You may not know me but I joined your discord since 2021 so It was really fun seeing all of the LBFAD talks there HAHA. I'm still hoping to see you review some korean dramas like "Alchemy Of Souls" but still, here's a big heart! ❤️
