This director has such a steong visual style and love of beauty, that I felt I REALLY wanted to know what the inside of his house looks like. I looked it up, and I have to say I'm really shocked. It's very 'let's throw money at the wall and see what sticks'. I onbviosuly don't know him, but man, I am disappointed 🤣

Hidden Love lost me somewhat after they got together, but I loved it up to that point.

She really shines in the funny scenes. I remember also finding her very funny in Love is All. I think something that leans a little more towards comedy is more her thing. And that's not a criticism of her acting, because comedy is really hard to do well.

It took a while, but ep 24 got me right in the feels. It's completely believable that both of them are doing what they're doing, and I like that.

Ji Limg storyline broke my heart. And I'm impressed with JJY's performance in this. She's very good when the mask of badassery slips and the vulnerability comes through.

Some people on MDL get very hung up on any kind of negativity they read about a drama or performer they like. I'm enjoying this. I have a thing for 9 tailed foxes, and stylistically it's right up my alley, but the murder mystery dinner party was a bit too much for me as well. I was almost waiting for someone to say that it was the butler in the pantry with the candlestick

You're contradicting yourself. You recommend it for first time drama watchers while also daying if you're not familiar with certain dramas then this drama is not for those people. How can a first time drama eatcher be familiar with the works you mentioned?

I dislike this enough that it feels like a slog, but I don't hate it enough to drop it. The 2nd couple aren't even a couple and they're still the best couple.

I really like Dilraba in this. The older, sexy, flirty, powerful, morally ambiguous role suits her very well. I'm watching on Viki so I've only seen the 3 episodes available there, but she is hot as hell so far.

I watch a LOT of shit, and that baby delivery in ep 16 is still one of the dumbest things I've seen in a drama.

The pacing is not as good in the final third. Fan ChangYu has become a little too Mary Sue for me. The characters have become less interesting. I feel like there is simultaeously a lot and very little happening (this last one is a bit vague I know, but I don't really know how to explain it). Still have 2 episodes to go, so perhaps I will change my mind.

I don't pick dramas due to their ratings. If the plot seems interesting, and/or there's an actor/actress in it I like, I'll give it a go. There are some dramas with good ratings that I could not get through, because everyone enjoys different things, and there are people like me who don't often rate dramas, so the ratings don't reflect all opinions.
