One of the better chinese dramas and not just for a detective drama. The 2 leads didn't have so many forced scenes that you cringe at. The male lead is very likable. Female lead is a strong character and isn't useless. I strongly want a second season because of the way they ended it. I mean you have to continue the drama based off the ending. I would like to see more in depth details of them going over Luo Fei's past like revealing it to Xiao Man. I always find that chinese dramas are much better when the amount of episodes are shorter and Detective L proves my point.
I was and still am a huge kamen rider/super sentai fan. I watched a lot of the series around 2013-2014 in my middle school years. So my youtube recommendations were filled with those stuff. In the summer of 2015, one day it recommended me this video called Nobuta Wo Produce episode 1. I had no idea what this was at all, I thought it was better than TV shows in america. It interested me and I clicked on it and watched it and really enjoyed it. I wonder what the heck this was and searched online that they were called Japanese dramas. My search eventually led to this website. I started high school in 2015 and took Japanese class which helped me find out more about stuff like anime and movies as well. I just started to connect from the actors in Nobuta Yamapi, Kame, and Maki and watch more movies/dramas with them until I started to watch some that didn't include them. Then in 2018 I wanted a short break from Jdramas and went to find a chinese drama to watch because my favorite movie ever was a chinese movie. I found out lots of differences of Cdrams to Jdramas. Now I have watched a few Cdramas and hope to watch more but its difficult to find some that interests me. Also for Anime, I'm not the biggest anime show lover but I have seen a little, most recently Bleach. I also want to say that watching Jdramas really helped me through my high school life. There was a time in high school where I stopped going. I was feeling alone and afraid of going to high school anymore. But when I watched shows like Hammer session and GTO 1998 version I thought that school could be as fun too. Great Teacher Onizuka was the drama that really taught me that school can be fun and it did. My senior year was my most fun ever in high school and I was glad that I came back to school and finished it off with a bang. Thats what I love about Japanese dramas, they teach you this lesson in life that can truly change you. I hope moving forwards in my life Jdramas will still help me through in my life
I didn't like the actor who plays Nomiya at all. He felt so emotionless at times. The movie was alright, I loved the song performance at the end. My favorite character has to be Sakamoto even though he should have gotten more screen time. The actor who plays Sakamoto is good. I hope he gets more roles in the future
I liked the plot but everything else was eh. So much things that didn't need to be in the film. If the male lead had a different type of character than that it could have been better. It's not worth the watch people.

I enjoyed the minor couple over the main couple. The character I enjoyed seeing grow the most through the drama is Ming Lang. Other than that the show was meh, watch if your bored drama.
