I'm not loving this spin off. while HP captivated us with the mundane of work life balance, friendship and glory. this playbook just seems to the yi young show. with the exception of koo do won, all these characters are flat and dull. even um jae who i know is supposed to be comic relief but he falls short

Title As Beautiful as You Spoiler
baggage? is a child considered baggage? if it is, that's a great reason not to remarry. Nothing is wrong with…
Here's another take;

Li Li is upset because the 'door' is closed.

I don't think Li Li's emotions got the best of her at all. She was always dating with the intention of getting married. With Xiao, it wasn't that she wanted to rush into marriage with him but she wanted to know that the relationship was heading in the marriage direction and that one day he would propose. After his declaration the intention was gone which broke her heart because all Li Li wants is a family of her own after coming from a broken home with her hysterical mother who is trying to vicariously correct her mistakes through Li Li and Li Li's abandonment by her father.

The real issue is that the couple has yet to have any real communication. Xiao is burdened by his grief and responsibilities and Li Li is trapped by her overwhelming need for belonging. Neither understands where the other party is coming from and both are selfishly trying to protect themselves whilst hurting each other.

I have a love/hate for this couple because I want Li Li to stand on business and leave if there is no future marriage prospects because a woman should have standards and also if she stays she would end up like her mother which would cause her to hate herself. But on the other hand I wish Xiao would work his shit out and open himself up to second chances and he shouldn't feel burdened by his child. Protecting his daughter is very important however children are happiest when their parents are happy.

they way you said it sound like your not a citizen of south Korea so you do not have any right to mock its legal…
1. I'm not mocking SK's legal system . This is genuine concern as a fan and it's just my opinion that more emphasis should be placed on healing rather than dragging a public figure through the mud who might engage in self harm
2. you're right I'm not korean so I can stand from the outside and see how high the suicide rates are. That isn't made up. those are facts. P.S. I'm mixed race South east asian, so not a white shithead american
3. you seem to enjoy villainizing these celebs till they reach their breaking point. Is watching people dying more valuable than an uncomfortable societal change?

It's good to have national pride but Wrong is still Wrong

Hot Take: Yoo Ah In shouldn't be villainized for weed.

So get that SK is conservative but this is bullsh!t. I'm not down playing the severity of his condition but shouldn't the emphasis be placed on getting him better. He shouldn't have to be dragged through the mud and be pushed to extremes for this!
This is why SK unaliving rates are so high. Can't people focus on the value of the life! I am terrified of news of Ah In possible self harm. Please stay strong!
P.S. F#@K those dicks

I hope she’s not the actual female lead. She is really bad at acting and with an amazing actor it will be worse…
I think saying she's bad at acting isn't quite right. While she isn't Kim Soo Hyun standard, she has her moments but I think what puts people off the most is that her characters come across as very, very very annoying. It worked when she was a second lead actress but irritates now that she is a lead.

But I agree she would be outclassed by Soo Hyun on an embarrassing scale.

Feel a bit of deja vu coming from another of FL's previous series. The "Red Sleeve" started out as an underrated…
What show was that? I only remember the mess that was Now We are breaking Up but that wasn't Netflix

buddy, this upcoming one is a thriller crime drama, and I expect less to none romance between them (for God's…
For the record buddy, Me saying that she matches up better with the nation's sweethearts does not mean that I ship them as a couple! NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT ROMANCE!!!! You should be the one to stop jumping to conclusions. IMO she has better flow/ onscreen energy when she is working along side TV boyfriends. But yes please tell me how to read and comprehend like you do!

I've never noticed how fatherless Lee Jong Suk was until I read this. He almost never have parents. This is ridiculous..... lol

has anyone else have issues with the year end statistics. Mine is giving me incorrect information

e.g. it says I've completed 10 dramas last year when I've completed 15 dramas from 2022 alone not including dramas from previous years.

It's also giving different results every time
What's up with this?

Wait, whom are you saying she's staying in love with? She dumped her ex, so I don't know whom you're referring…
i think she meant that JH staying in love with the FL is toxic, not the FL staying in love with someone else

Title Love Is for Suckers Spoiler
Thank you for pointing out this one. I take this as poor writing not to take into consideration what is actually…
The father was unrecognizable so even if JH did choose him as the one with better odds of survival he still wouldn't have know it was his dad until after the surgery. he would have operated on a stranger in that case in an emergency situation.

but that's not what his regret is all about. His regret is that he didn't recognize his father. He knew from his medical expertise that nothing could be done to save him but that he didn't recognize him and left him all alone to die crushed him.

I don't think it's bad writing in my opinion but that they left him in the emergency room is utter rubbish. he should have been isolated with terminal care treatment.

So far i've been pleasantly surprised as I do not hate this drama as I thought I would. But after episode 10 ending I feel like it's going to spiral into a big heaping pile of rubbish.

I don't know why I feel such impending doom when all i'm hoping for is for the drama to be a good average drama.
