The best description i've seen so far is this is about Cha Jeong Won who embarks on dangerous life of lies to seek revenge for her father, who is falsely accused of murder, and her biological mother Han Hye Ra, who abandoned her. Despite Cha Jeong Won inheriting a natural talent for drawing and design from her mother, she is branded the daughter of a murderer and lives a miserable life until she decides to exact revenge with lies and becomes the daughter-in-law of the wealthy family of the Geonhyang Group. Her biological mother is the new wife of the chairman of the group and also now the vice president
After Han Hye Ra reunites with her husband Jin Tae Seok, who she abandoned in their younger days due to poverty, she rejects natural ties and abandons her husband and daughter to pursue her own desires. She gets embroiled in conflict as she confronts her biological daughter now turned daughter-in-law, who has embarked on a dangerous, false life to seek revenge on her
Some info from the past few months:On June 11, Lee Jung Ha, said in an interview, "I asked writer Kang Full…
So with filming due to start in March 2026 and if Park Byung Eun is right and the filming does take about a year that would mean that they are likely to finish filming sometime in the first half of 2027 so my best guess is a release would at best be pretty late in the second half of 2027 or maybe earlyish 2028 depending on the amount of VFX editing and post-production process they have to go through
For comparison, season 1 was 20 episodes and took 11 months to film between August 23rd, 2021 to July 11th, 2022, but didn't air until August 2023. So if they are supposedly going to take a year to film, I'd assume they are going again with a high episode count of 16 or more episodes?
I mean with the amount of violence that happens against women from men that goes unpunished or not taken seriously enough is tremendous and too many to even fathom so representing these stories that show the real struggles women face with violence in my opinion is incredibly important and will continue to be important forever no matter how many dramas represent it
You might see it as too many but for women that have to live with abuse, violence and even death for a majority of their lives or even for a short period of time, in my opinion there can never be too many stories that speak on that reality. Dismissing these stories just because you think there are too many ignores why these stories getting told matter in the first place
A bit of a correction was made to the article made by the reporter, the romance with Seo In Uk will be with Choi Sa Rang. It looks like they mixed up names with Woo Soo Bin's character i'd assume by mistake. The character of Choi Sa Rang hasn't been announced yet but i'd assume she will be a member of the the supporting cast
Lee Soo Kyung and Hong Min Ki reportedly to join the cast
Lee Soo Kyung plays Um Jeong Seon, a native of Pyeondong-do who works as a nurse in the oriental medicine department. Um Jeong Seon plays a central character in the story, clashing with Yook Ha Ri, who has just arrived at the Pyeondong Health Center as a one-year contract nurse
Hong Min Ki plays Hyun Chi Yeon, a public health doctor. Hyun Chi Yeon works as a public health doctor and is known as a 'tsundere' cold handsome man. He leads the drama by forming a rivalry with Do Ji Ui
Lee Sang Yeob and Baek Sung Chul reportedly joining the cast as well
Lee Sang Yeob will play Seo In Uk, a film production company CEO in his late 30s who is close to Woo Su Bin. He will also develop a love line with screenwriter Choi Sa Rang
Baek Sung Chul will play Sim Yu Geon, a 29-year-old extra who moved to Seoul with dreams of becoming an actor but still experiences anxiety while being on camera
Cha Woo Min reportedly joining this and has begun filming. He will play actor Ji Eun Ho who is the self-proclaimed number one fan of drama writer Na Bo Bae and a rookie actor who is just starting to make a name for himself. While his success has been slow, he is a likable actor who is universally loved. He has maintained a close relationship with Na Bo Bae since their debut
So not October it looks like anymore? Cashero, Can This Love Be Translated?, and Price of Confession are the last 3 left for the Netflix 2025 line-up to confirms dates. With the typical 3-4 weeks in-between their drama releases i don't think that they have enough time to space them out like that anymore for those 3
I'd guess one towards of November, another maybe the first week or two of December and then another after Christmas maybe?
On June 11, Lee Jung Ha, said in an interview, "I asked writer Kang Full about Season 2, and I heard that the action scale will be bigger and more spectacular than Season 1.", and "He said he was still writing it but when I asked more about it, he said, 'Jung Ha, the action will be bigger, flashier, and cooler than Season 1.'. " Lee Jung Ha said, "I don't know yet if I'll be able to appear, but I'm looking forward to it."
