I’m a fan of Jung Jinyoung and he did not disappoint. He played his character well. The story though was a bit on the shallow side. Watch if you just want to have a good and silly laugh!
This is the only running k drama I have ever watched, I usually wait till all the episodes are available but this one is just so fun to look forward to...it has the right balance for me: a little romance, quick giggle here and there, a pinch of evil with melodrama and a tad of action at the right time in the right place - Perfect!
I finished episode 3 and I am afraid I have to abandon ship. I thought that with Park Seo Joon this would be lighthearted comedic drama...not!
The story I think has potential and Ji Sung’s acting is awesome abut I cannot get past the female lead’s character! I thought she looked awfully familiar and sure enough she is also the main lead in She was Pretty. I could not even finish episode 1 of that drama because of her screaming. I’m sure she is a good actress if only she wouldn’t scream as much! I just cannot subject myself or my ears for that matter with incessant yelling, just what is up with that? The best acting i think is without words, letting your eyes do all the talking. Sigh, I will have to read recaps from dramabeans yet again because I honestly think that story is interesting.
The twists in this drama is dizzying, some crazy switchbacks without warning signs! Great acting though and Choi Jin Hyuk did not disappoint even if his character is too somber for my liking. I ended up watching 22 episodes before giving up, but I did finish reading the recaps elsewhere.
I am honestly disappointed. I wasn’t expecting much to begin with knowing that this will be the fluffy kind but I was banking on the talents especially Jung jinyoung. I think he delivered but Jisoo I thought was overacting, too forced if you know what I mean. I wasn’t feeling the main female lead either. Could have been saved by some comedic touch but sadly I don’t see that here either.
I think this is slapstick comedy at its finest....I dropped it at mid-episode 5 as the kissasian site went bonkers on me and I didn’t have the patience to wait for it...wish I saw the recommended sites here before I started watching. I ended up reading the recaps at dramabeans all the way to episode 20. It still managed to crack me up, yes, it’s that funny! I think the 3 guys nailed the acting part but I have to admit that some scenes are a little too gross for my liking. I may watch a few episodes here and there if I feel the need for some laugh :)
Who else feels that episode 15 is so anti climax and just goes so opposite of the flow of of Se Hee and Ji Hyo’s relationship? I mean c’mon, they were so honest all this time with the most bizarre of things.... Argh, if the ending of this drama is a downer I will so not watch any of this writer’s work!
Watched it because of Park Seo Joon (love him in Fight My Way) and Park Min Young (and her in Healer) which I think are great actors. I had fun and lots of silly giggles but story line is weak especially between the bros and can’t really believe that PMY could not remember PSJ in all the years they have intimately worked together.
I was a bit shocked with the amount of skin shown in the movie but it was all tastefully done. All the actors were superb, special mention to Lee Sung Min ( became one of my fave since I saw him in Misaeng) and Jo Min Soo (I physically felt her embrassment and pain in the bathroom scene). Story line was so so especially the ending.
I don’t usually drop dramas especially if it’s a Gong Yoo one but despite his great acting skills, this drama included, even him cannot save this one for me... the plot is just too detached from reality! I was rooting for the older teacher but there was no backstory to root for - yes he was her hero when no one else believed in her but what made him fall for her? I lasted 8 episodes.... I really tried, promise :(
