He's 100% ethnic Han, but he most likely has some European blood in him. This could lead to some people having features not typically associated with the Han Chinese majority, for example. Another actress from the same region is Zhang Yuxi . She also kind of look mix, despite being 100% Han.

You think any government can't survive on its own? No! Many of CCP's rules were made due to public backlash. BL adaptations were banned because they were selling sugar instead of quality drama. Then fanwars annoyed the general public. So yah .not everything is CCP!

All the cast used their own voices. Most modern dramas are original voices and on set recording. They dub themselves when voice wasn't captured well during filming. XK used his own voice in 'best choice ever' and 'she and her perfect husband.' This is his 3rd modern drama with his own voice. 0 costume drama with his own voice.
