The opinions on Ju Jingyi reminds me of that phenomenon ....the bandwagon effect? Heard mentality? People just keep repeating what others say. Most people, including myself, have no idea what good acting is. Not caring about dubbing already tells you enough about how much we know about acting. To me, JJY is no different from most cdramas idol actresses 🤷🏻♀️ As for this drama, the plot, so far, seems interesting enough ...but not sure how long i can endure the bad dubbing. Probably I'll fast forward just to see how the faces were swapped and how that Zhi girl died.

Accent issue isn't a china only problem. You are basically saying that china is the only country with different regional accents when literally the whole world have regional accents. Even a tiny country of 5M have different accents. Tell that to Aussies who play Americans or Texans who play Californians. A Chinese actor with heavy accent is liu Yuning and dude has no problem with putonghua when he needs to line deliver. Mark chao has done pretty well ditching his Taiwanese accent. And there are many more Chinese actors that have adjusted their accents to fit the characters they play. It's called acting! Have you heard liu Shishi's line delivery. She's horrible! It's like listening to someone giving a speech in class. She's a robot! Hence, they always dub her.
As for zly and lgx being dubbed. Why are you surprised? These 2 have poor record with original voices. LGX has 0 costume drama with his voice. Zly only has 1 (minglan) out of the large list of costume dramas. These actors are known in china as 演貝. I really think these voice actors should get 50% of the awards dubbed actors get. I guess life is just that unfair.
Honestly, I don't care whether they promote it or not. I'm watching the drama not because of their marketing mimicks. If a drama is good, promotion isn't even required. I rather they use the money for better editing. So if production is disappointing because of no promotion, then who cares. If production is disappointing because it sucks at producing a drama with good plot, then that's worrisome.
