it's so boring lmaoo. Maybe because it's still fairly new but I'm surprised it's rated higher than Sooji & Woori
I was watching suji and woori but I stopped around the reveal that SY was living with her daughter the whole time. I felt the story around the main 4 characters was starting to drag. As unpopular as this opinion is, Nayoung was the only character I found somewhat interesting (and I was starting to find Suji's family obnoxious). Has it picked up since then?
I'm not sure if I want Jinho and Seolah to get back together... ngl I gagged when she ran in the script reading screaming "Saranghae! Saranghae!" π ... idk if it's just me but I can't "buy" the fact that they were about to get married let alone a loving couple. I definitely prefer her scenes with Hyunwoo
next episode's preview shows Seolah trying to refresh jinho's memories... but idk lol I'm hoping that he gets his memories back but chooses NOT to go back to his old life... I want him to fully commit to the dark side so Seolah can accept they'll never get back together so she can stop looking so teary eyed all the time π
Can't have a makjang without a hit and run so I'm not surprised to see that in the preview. I figured that Jeongin was going to hit someone ... just not Jinho. I don't think he's gonna die tho.. I think he's going to get amensia and then end up as JWJ... just a theory.
Also in this episode we meet the 2ML, his brother and his mom, the original wife of Taechang... who seemingly had an affair with Jeongin. This is the kind of makjang messiness that I live for!
Got caught up with the first weeks episodes. I'm so glad that the flashbacks didn't take a lot of episodes. I just got done watching meant to be and there were like 20 episodes of flashbacks lol
Now for the story, looks like jinho is going to cheat on seola with juryun ... and kyungsook eventually falls in love with him (??) a mother and daughter being romantic rivals is wild but then again, the Korean title for this drama is SCANDAL so at least they got that part right π
Finally got caught up and the episode ends with Sunyoung confronting her daughter... And well... like idk if it's normal in Korea for the landlord to take such an interest in the tenant but I'd get irritated too if I was renting a room from someone (strictly as a business deal) and they are extremely interested in me. But beggars can't be choosers now can they...
Although I do wonder what Suji's future plans are... surely she won't spend the rest of the series in that room lol (and I hope not because I like the hospital scenes)
And if this show ends like pink lipstick did, y'all are about to be real mad lol
Definitely! Nayeon is a bit like a typical FL at the beginning, but once the revenge starts (way sooner than it does here lol) , she completely does a 180 and becomes very calculating. I hope you like it!
So ep 91... unsurprisingly, not much happened today. I think I'll come back to this one in a few weeks (and I probably won't watch another daily by this writer, since I had the same issues with pink lipstick 14 years ago. Slow pacing and filler is her M.O.)
If you want a fun daily where the FL marries into the family for revenge, highly recommend The Promise with Lee Yoori
Sidenote, I wonder if Aeja's character is popular amongst Korean audiences. She gets quite a lot of screentime (at the cost of more relevant plotlines not being addressed)

There is one thing I'm confused about though... Is Uri and Duri's mother also Sooji/Sookyung's mother?
