I don't think Ju Ryun is actually her daughter. Her thoughts suggest otherwise. She only thinks that Ju Ryun isn't…
Good point... And I also remember towards the beginning of the drama where it was implied by another character (I think it was the ex-doctor?) that Juryun wasn't Taechang and Jeongin's daughter...
(totally skipped to episode 74) This show has jumped the shark. The DNA tests have been brought out and it seems that SJH/JWJ is the product of Jeongin's teen pregnancy with the lookalike that was in her flashbacks af the beginning of the show ... now since that's the case, Juryun is in love with her (half) brother and now I'm wondering back to episode 1, where it seemed like Jeongin and JWJ had romantic chemistry. No wonder the Korean title is scandal, lmao
Meanwhile, on namuwiki, it's been theorized that Jeongin's murder didn't actually happen, like it's someone's…
You're right, we won't know until it airs. My personal theory is Jeongin's murder is how the series ends... the slow pacing lead me to that conclusion lol
But you're 100% right about the previously shown fantasiea. If Jeongin's murder WAS a fantasy, I will say that it's probably one of the most well produced and high budget makjang fantasies I've seen. That being said though, we have 28 episodes left.... either this drama is going to be extended or everything will be rushed towards the end. We shall see~
Looks like there's no episode today (10/15). Can't find an article but I am willing to bet that it's because of a baseball playoff game airing in that time slot

Meanwhile, on namuwiki, it's been theorized that Jeongin's murder didn't actually happen, like it's someone's fantasy/dream sequence. If this is true, I will never watch a drama by this writer again 😂
This nudie movie subplot 💀💀💀 I swear with every episode I watch I get closer to dropping it. But there's usually something in there that keeps me going... in this case Director Na vs Min Taechang. I will stand by my opinion that the drama should've been Sunae getting revenge on Jeongin - she and her son are bringing the heat!
30 episodes to go until the end.... This drama has been so unengaging that if I miss an episode, I don't go back to watch it ... I just jump to the current episode... I can usually guess what happens, since the plot is moving in circles (and I usually go back and read the episode summaries on KOCOWA if I skip too many)
I won't be surprised if I skip episode 71.... Seolah is going to offer her 2 cents on this nudie movie mess, (and I won't be surprised if she convinces him to pull out of the project because this is a daily makjang and ~first love conquers all~)
I feel like this is a popular opinion but I don't like watching Seolah and Woojin interact... There's no chemistry and watching paint dry is a more riveting experience. If they get back together at the end....
Well, here's hoping that next week we get closer to Jeongin's murder... which is looking more and more like it will be towards the end of the series. Also; there are certain things in episode 1 that have not been explained yet...
I actually have been busy with college and I haven’t been catching up with the drama but hopefully I’ll catch…
Oh yes I did watch that like years ago... like I was still in high school when I watched that lol. I am going to rewatch that and just keep checking in on this....

I got to around episode .... 45? Before dropping it. Not because of the story of anything but I had real life obligations. I believe it's written by the same person who wrote game of witches... I am going to probably go back and finish it.
And I'm definitely adding all those dramas you named to my watch list lol
Currently on episode 60 -The kidnapping could've been written better - making things happen off screen is an example of lazy writing. The actual kidnapping itself came out of nowhere, it honestly felt like I was watching Taechang have a mental break. I get Juryun being apprehensive since that's her dad, but director na telling Taechang he'll keep his crime under wraps? Someone tell the screenwriter we don't negotiate with terrorists 😠-No offense to the actor (I'm sure he's doing the best he can with the material given) but watching Seolah and Juryun fight over Woojin is like watching two people fight over a car with three wheels. The drama over the ring cemented this for me lol. It doesn't help that both relationships (Juryun/Woojin and Seolah/Woojin) were poorly written -does anyone actually enjoy the love triangle? I thought we were doing something when Juryeon broke up with Woojin but they got back together... and it looks like Woojin is back to caring about Seolah in the ep 61 preview. You can't see me as I type this, but I am rolling my eyes -Seolah is the most fragile and passive female lead I've seen in a daily drama. Her monologues about getting revenge fall flat. She started ranting about how Juryun's family makes her addicted to revenge... My response? Sure Jan! -Even though the story is billed as Seolah getting revenge, I honestly feel like Sunae is running the revenge show, and Seolah is just a pawn in her game -juryun learning about her parents sins and (slowly) turning against them may be what the story needs to move forward
Seems like the story is going in circles for the time being. Now catch up to the current episode....

She was too young to remember and I believe Jeongin moved her in after they killed off Seolah's dad. (I remember a scene where young Seolah was pissed because she didn't know she was going to get a sister lol) According to namuwiki, both Seolah and Juryun were both born in 1991!

I consider juryeon to be a sub villain. The main villains are Jeongin and Taechang
Don't take my word for it because I'm still behind lol but from where I last left off (ep 57) Juryeon seems to slowly (hopefully) moving away from evil... as she is learning about what her parents did to Seolah's

I usually watch revenge dailies for the revenge but I do love myself a well written romance. That being said, I like the secondary romances better because the writers tend to go through nontraditional stories. While a lot of times the main characters in makjangs don't get together until the very end (due to the story) In this particular drama, I'm hoping that Seokgi and Juryun get together, because of all the couples, they have the most chemistry (in my opinion) lol

But I agree with your couple choices!
