I think that CEO didn't know the depth of what Jae Hee/band member knew and was trying to get to him before the police. We may have a plot twist and find out that CEO is actually La Ik's dad.

I think Yeong Bin saw something and both he and Jae Hee overheard something. That "keep your mouth shut" and "I don't know anything" face from the director to Jae Hee is highly sus.

The way in which the LSC executes his actions, I'm hard pressed to believe that he and his masked poison expert delayed rescuing the queen, unless someone within his command purposely caused the delay.

My left brain understands that her trauma and memory loss is possibly taking her to a "peaceful time with her infant child" but my right brain doesn't believe that's the true path/answer of this plot device. The baby is just too unsettling and incongruent for me. Of course, typically in kdrama when someone loses it, they often use a baby or doll as a prop. Idk...

So you're saying the baby is symbolic, representing a new life for her?

The Dowager Queen is such a wild card too and it will be interesting to find out her motives in all of this. She's just as messy as LSC. Was she the dead king's mother or did he have a different mother? She has to know he was murdered, or did she participate in his death, making HER son heir to the throne.

I totally agree that the Lady in White and our villain were a forbidden couple prior to her wedding the king. From his clothes in the wound dressing scene, it looks like he worked for his lover's family. So, what if she's mad because he didn't take a stand for their love and let her marry the king?

Another conundrum for me is the hidden pistol in the bonsai. I think his daughter will kill her dad with that pistol. Or, in another failed attempt, his masked minion caught feelings and will do a sacrificial murder to keep him from being charged with treason.

Since he knows about the set-up by Queen Dowager, I would think she would kill him!

What had he done for the queen for her to so intimately dress his wound?!!!! AND, why was she not in royal attire at the time?!!! Was that before she became queen and that's why he's so wrecked about his daughter and the prince?!!!

The baby piece is just not mathing for me.

Of course, another plot twist might be the side effect of the fake poison was that she would lose her mind. His minion, the pharmacist, knew the danger and didn't express that to him. Or, the minion is harboring "unrequited love" for him.

One part that doesn't go "full circle" for me...she is holding a baby. Did the brain malfunction and take her back in time? And/Or, was she pregnant with LSC's baby and the Queen Dowager was correct in the "rumor" the queen was adulterous.

Exactly! His wide net of revenge and the intimacy of that revenge is unforgivable. He kinda went off like a broken lawn sprinkler.

Seeing him on his knees in front of the love of his life filled me with compassion. Both the director and villain are doing an incredible job here. I agree, we can pity but that does not excuse the fact that he chose to become a monster as a result of his frustration and trauma. Of course the former king bowing to his mother's vicious attack, resulting in the "death" of the former queen, is monstrous and unforgivable. I see why our villain chose to end the former king and make the present king HIS puppet.
