I would be totally pissed at my friend meeting with someone I'm friends with and a total stranger to her, behind my back. Especially divulging private and traumatic information about me. Doc knows of the special connection. Yeah, passive aggressive sideways ish that I have no tolerance for. I would have told her to step off and get a life. But, I wouldn't be meeting with her meddling azz anyway!

I agree! Unlike Business Proposal, we're waiting for the "best friend" doctor who is a grey character, to become a black character because of her passive aggressive leanings. That invalidates both the belief and growth of any "second couple" relationship. Also, the supporting characters seem nondescript and quite forgettable to me. The plot feels like a bland blend of Business Proposal and Marry My Husband.

For me, that was the most frustrating part. Sadly, with the back story of drugs, no family member was willing to step up for Sua. She was probably hoping for more time in prison. But it looks like she wasn't successful in turning Sua against her mom.

Exactly! They didn't believe him or even help to prove his innocence. Dad selling him. mom refusing to touch him and a brother that used him (which was basically a sell out too). F that family! Eun Soo gave him all the only sense of healthy belonging in his life.

Exactly! If my wife had a frenemy that was cold and calculating like that thing, I would HAVE to tell her. I would be afraid that that frenemy would cause much more damage if I let that pass.

However, in this drama, everyone was betrayed by someone close. :(

I can't wait for his mom and sis to find out that Jenny dumped his azz and is marrying someone else. As if that scooby doo fool is so desireable!!!!!!

I hope she doesn't become spiteful and exposes him to nonsense. But, we know the breakup will happen around episode 9 or 10.

I'm hoping the other detective comes through. It seems like his eyes are open since Tae Gu brought down the prior detective the same way.

I think Taegu will set Gyeong Do up just like he did his former partner because he knows he can't bring him to the dark side. I'm hoping Gyeong is Internal Affairs and in the process of exposing his decade of corruption.

The cop believes that if he alleviates the financial flops in the past, he can get his family back. He muffed that up royally by being physically violent and constantly making bad choices. His family is done with his azz, which I'm glad to see. Plus, he thinks he can compete with "Step Zaddy" with money.

I agree about the Austin "riddles!" That story line will probably be revealed in the last 2 episodes.

I like the way her character is written. First, she's overwhelmed and sits in her pity for a little time. Then, her bold critical thinking skills take over and watch out! I love that the Eun Soo character is allowed to carefully explore solutions and at other times she is given credible "on the fly" results.

The tip was that same benevolent "Fagin" act (of Oliver Twist fame). Just like evil ass Phantom.

Legend of Female General was definitely a miss for me. There was too much fragility and helplessness for me. The armor was nice though!

I agree! She's portraying masculine energy very well and giving her character great dimension! I'm biased though...I've fallen in love and have no compunction about doing bad things for her!!!!!!

Yes ma'am! I also think that the brother did it (the bad thing) and GY took the blame. That's why brother is being such an assh@t by working GY's guilt. I can't wait for all the loose threads to come together in this dynamic tapestry.

Also, I'm loving the older detective and his intuition with his "long game" approach. He knows that exact evidence is needed with Eun Soo, but he's impressed, as I am, with her skills! Plus, he has to babysit that young detective. Ugh!

Wild card...Gyeong's brother. I also think Eun Soo's bestie may be a bad ass. She walked away from her brother, who seems like a petty criminal, like a big boss. So many layers, but I'm loving it!
