Spoil me. Is you-know-who dying for real? Because if the answer is yes, I refuse to watch the finale. /the answer…
Lol! Same here! Honestly if they got the entire cast and crew tougher for a second season I'd watch them do anything at this point. But yes leaving Ki Taek on the operating table was kinda silly. Honestly though I would rather have that than anything dramatic or SAD! He makes it! I know he does! He has to! He does!
The ending felt rushed. This drama should have been longer and well, yes, I really, really loved it very much.…
I would love to watch a second season of this drama (*_* ) This is one drama that I loved all the relationships! Sometimes its a breath of fresh air to see an actual relationship form and to see it blossom into something more that I really wasn't bothered that they didn't have much PDA. The end was a bit rushed, I think another 2 episodes would have been better to end the series on~ but I don't mind it so much.
If you haven't read the manga, then it's a great drama.
This is one of the few (from the ones i've seen) Musical K-Drama's that i've rated more than 8 stars (the other two were Shut up & What's Up). If you don't like youth drama's or musicals then it's not a show for you. It's a bit slow at times but I've liked the conflicts and the characters have grown a lot during the course of the show. The romance is cute, but it could have been a bit better. I honestly like all the characters, which happens very rarely for me.
So yeah... watch it if you like youth/music type of dramas.
As for what desertbanshee recommended... I'm also watching Man to Man, but I haven't been able to emotionally connect with any of the characters (it's been 4 episodes). I love the cast, the show is very well shot and flashy... but there is something missing and I can't put my finger on it.
I am sad to report that Park Shin Hye's drama kissing track record has not improved.
So accurate it hurts. KRW is a pretty good kisser~ PSH needs to step up her game, like she did in Pinocchio, or stop doing romance heavy dramas.
I will forgive her deerinheadlights kiss this once, since the character is supposed to be innocent and lack experience. Though wouldn't it be just wonderful if next week we resume the episode and she suddenly starts kissing him back like an expert. If only Anthony was producing this drama~ he could have put a lipstick ppl right after that scene.
For me J-Dramas/Movies are the more realistic of the bunch (K/C/TW/etc). To put it simply they are raw (the characters, the story, the cinematography). I think that's why most people don't enjoy it as much. The best romance, family, life, and school dramas that I have watched have been Japanese. My guilty pleasure is manga adaptations. I haven't watched many paranormal J-Drama's so I can't speak for them. I do however ADORE Taiga!!! Stunning cinematography, beautiful costumes, fantastic characters, and a lovely little segment at the end of episodes that teaches you about the real history.
asia y'all need to let playful kiss die in peace already, korea did it, japan did it twice and are about to do…
I completely agree with you! They really need to let Itazura na Kiss rest in peace. There are so many great Shōjo mangas out there with strong female characters. I wouldn't even mind them adapting more Josei mangas into liveaction format.
I really wish we could get more strong female characters in dramas and movies.
I have been a kdrama fan for over 12years now.. and during these 12 years never have I ever heard the lead saying…
I hardy post on a drama's thread but I finally decided to do it today & I see you beat me to it. Thank you dear ^^ I have been watching Kdrama for 17 years and this happens once in a blue moon. I don't get why they can't admit that someone is pretty. You don't have to be in love with them to just say these simple words xD
On a side note~ Episode 6 was fantastic. I love the little segments at the end of the episode where they go back and show us what really happened. All the characters are fantastic thus far. The only problem I had was connecting with Sul Hee's character and they did show us a little bit more of her character in the latest episode.
Just give them the award for best kiss scene already! GIVE IT TO THEM LOL
Eric is a good kisser~ I always enjoy his kissing scenes. Seo Hyun Jin has crazy chemistry with him! I'm not one for matching actors together but they should totally date.
Fantastic first episode~ I am utterly captivated by the storyline. The directing, acting, and soundtrack were…
I don't mind people giving their opinions about the show itself. It's just that they only talk about the age difference of the actors and NOTHING else. I don't care if people say "I watched such and such episode and it was horrible, or the characters have no chemistry, etc" but the age difference topic is getting a bit repetitive and annoying now.
I was just stating that people shouldn't judge a show without even watching an episode of it.
Fantastic first episode~
I am utterly captivated by the storyline. The directing, acting, and soundtrack were also spot on.
For everyone talking about age gap/difference, casting or whatever~ if you don't want to watch it stop spamming this shows comment thread and go watch something else. No one is forcing you to take time out of your (busy?) life to comment on a show that you probably won't watch for whatever reason.
I'm sick and tired of going to a a shows page and seeing comments that have nothing to do about the show itself. What's done is done. No amount of b*tching/moaning will change the cast now. Either watch it or don't.
Totally recommend this one to all.
