I decided to give this drama a chance even thought I was convinced I wouldn't like it since I thought it would…
Being healthy is having less fat and more muscle mass for any given body type, depending on height. I am slightly underweight for my height but am classified as unhealthy because I have very little muscle mass. My younger brother (yr 5 med student) puts it aptly when he calls me "skinny fat". I'm working on gaining more muscles atm by exercising and eating healthier meals and on time. Supermodel (depending on the model) should not be a body-type goal for ANYONE.
OHDEERLAWD Yeong-Ho and his shouts of agony (I was crying like a newborn babe). I got misty-eyed when he put his head on her chest (as a child would do to his mother when seeking comfort). Damn SJS is killing me in this role! Why are you so sad puppy?
OMONA why does his father have port-a-cath? No one knows he is sick? His mother-in-law is kicking him out and doesn't even know how his health is?
Drama please don't give me too much "drama"~ I don't think I could take it if dad is terminally ill.
Oh and Granny you need to take it down a notch~ I know your daughter is dead and you want to do right by your grand-son, however that does not give you the right to kick out his father, step-mother & brother. What the fuck lady~ you should be surrounding him with a family now that he has a clean bill of health (minus the psychological trauma), not building a gilded cage for him. These chaebols don't know a thing about child-rearing~ tsk.
There are so many other shows you could watch. Unless you want to waste your time and feel utter disappointment afterwards then I suggest you stay away.
Big tells the story of how two capable script writers, with a great cast and crew can completely f*ck up an entire show by not following their own damn plot. There have been so many noona romances that I don't get why they couldn't just stick to the flow of the show and give it the ending it deserved. It may not have ended up being one of the greatest shows, but at least it would have been far more enjoyable with a solid ending.
It really is a shame when a drama with so much potential turns to utter disappointment.
Wow... what a smart wordplay for the title, it's brilliant. When I read bubblegum I think pink, sweet and fluffy…
Its the perfect name for a show i've ever come across. It actually perfectly describes the show. Did you get its full meaning? You will when you watch it ~ and it's quite astounding.
Not only is the plot very similar to birth of a beauty but the same actor jung gyu woon is playing the antagonist.
I'm sorry I must have read wrong... Did you really say there isn't as much chemistry between these leads than the leads in masters sun? That's not even possible.
So Ji-Sub and Shin Min-Ah practically pardon my French eye f*ck each other in every scene. I love Gong Hyo-Jin to death but her chemistry is a few degrees less than Shin Min-Ahs when it comes to wooing So Ji-Sub.
Oh and if you judge a show by its plot 90% of Korean Drama's are repetitive.
WAE?????
