If ever Kwon Ji-Yong & Jo Jung-Suk had a love child Lego Lee would be him. Every time he smiles it always reminds me of Ji-Young. His acting and charisma keep bringing Jung-suk to mind x)
She's 15 and he's 29... like she's not even of legal age... that makes me super uncomfortable. I think I'm gonna…
No one said they are going to film any hardcore sex scenes or even a kissing scene. This is a fantasy-fusion-sageuk drama. If she is supposedly a cold hearted witch I doubt there will be much kissing involved. You can show romance without kissing and having adult scenes. It all depends on the script and how the actors portray the romance between their characters. One perfect example of a sageuk with age gap romance is Painter of the Wind. It is one of my favourite drama's and the love the main characters had for each other was the most endearing thing.
I'm going to watch this because the story sounds nice, the preview looked really good and the actors are good at what they do.
It's sad seeing people rule out a drama just because of the actors real age. Also if anyone here studied any amount of history, you would know that females got married at young ages to men much older than them. No one bitches about GOT~ its a fantasy show but most of the romance and political marriage stuff is true, if it were in a historical setting.
No one is forcing you to watch this show. The show hasn't even aired so you don't know what its going to be like. Just because the synopsis says it's a romance doesn't mean its purely that genre or that there actually will be much romance in it.
So disappointed that we won't get any episodes this week..
I saw that on dramabeans and I'm really happy about this. Now I have time to catch up on Love Me if You Dare. I also have to attend parties three days back to back so "yay for me" @_@
to the people who think jinwoo is going to have alzheimer's after reading the synopsis, i'm 99% sure it's just…
I read that also~ but I'm wishing, nay hoping they don't stick to that story-line because as it stands the good guys are f*cked. I don't know how in the hell they are going to win any fight if Jin-woo starts losing his memory, let alone a fight against Nam Gyu-man.
Wow!! What an incredible drama. I enjoy every minute of it. They are spectacular together!! Could she be more…
I wish Min-ah was dating SJS in real life instead of Kim Woo-bin~ but I'm happy for her either way.
I just hope they act together again after this drama.
Oh thank god~ I'm so happy with episode 13! I mean not happy as in dancing~ I did cry like a baby for most of…
I died when she walked into him~ DID YOU SEE HER FACE??? OMG these two have so much damn chemistry, I don't think they need to act out anything~ it crushed my SOUL! I'm so happy this drama doesn't drag at all~ even when they have a huge thing come up they solve it in a somewhat logical manner. I was really happy when Joo-Eun & Soo-Jin made up :D
Oh thank god~ I'm so happy with episode 13! I mean not happy as in dancing~ I did cry like a baby for most of the episode, but i'm soooooooooooooo sooooooooo happy they didn't use the amnesia trope.
"These two had a connection when they were younger. Now as adults, they meet once again" What connection…
I think Joo-Eun's dad worked for Yeong-Ho's company~ not sure though... they haven't said anything about that. Also I'm watching so many dramas atm that I can't keep my head on straight xD
Nam Goong Min's acting skills though omg he is doing an amazing job
He shines more and acts better in a villainous role than he ever did playing the second lead in a romance triangle. I hope he gets better roles from now on.
I completely agree with you that Joo Won was probably the perfect person to cast for the role of Yong Pal & that Kim Tae-Hee wasn't a very strong actress and didn't emote as well as Joo Won (i've honestly only seen her shine in one role and that was My Princess). However, I personally loved the show until episode 8-9, I didn't mind the romance stuff~ because I believed Yong Pal falling for the girl but I just couldn't wrap my head around everything else. They took the character of Yong Pal ~ someone who was fierce, strong willed, compassionate, and a gifted surgeon and turned him into a love sick puppy. I mean what happened to the skilled surgeon who saved lives no matter the status of the patient? For him to give up his intern-ship and walk away just because his sisters surgery was taken care of was so unbelievable if not utterly disappointing from this viewers point-of-view. He wanted to become a competent surgeon for the sake of his mother not only to earn money for his sisters treatment. I would have totally understood that yes he doesn't want to work on the 12th floor and that it would have been nice for them to get rid of that horrid place from the hospital, but to just walk away from it all was not like his character.
This show just frustrated the hell out of me, but I'm glad I watched it after it ended because honestly speaking if I was watching this on a weekly basis I would have dropped it halfway. It's very disappointing when a drama has a really interesting character but they end up changing it due to ratings. I don't begrudge it but it turns a show that was a 9 for me into a 6.5-7, not because I was promised one thing and got another by the end~ but because they took away the one good and original thing that had me captivated. Oh well to each his own I guess.
This drama had a really nice soundtrack, solid acting (Tae-Hee did try her best) and directing, but not the best of scripts. I wouldn't personally recommend this show to anyone but I have seen much worse and you it isn't a complete waste of time so I'd say check it out for yourself and form your own opinions instead of basing what you watch on someone else's experience :)
I know its not as good as the first one~ but I really want to watch it.
