"I suppose it should be his mind making up stuff."That's it, basically. To be fair there are some people who tend…
"I don't see any development or that he worked on himself". That's probably the conclusion. He thought he would do better with himself being apart from Seojoon (he thought SJ would do better too) and that's just not the case. He's still sad, miserable and on the verge of losing the love of his life. So I think him understanding this and fighting for the right thing is the development he needs. He can work on himself while being with Seojoon, who could also try to help him with that. He just needs to open his mouth and speak lol. I hope I'm not being too hopeful.
Incredibly over-simplified comment. I love angst, drama, etc. I have always been drawn to sadness. I avoid fluff…
No offense, but the same way you and others here have deemed this as a failure, there are many other people out there giving out essays on why this is an absolute masterpiece. I don't think it's either (not even CLOSE to a masterpiece btw), but my point is: there are many point of views and you don't really own the "truth" like you seem to think.
Kinda understand everyone's frustration with S2. That's cz S1 was much too sweet compared to this. But in a way…
There is a sequence in episode 7(?) literally dedicated to showing how Jiwoo felt lonely in the relationship and he explains it with all words, with shots of him in those situations. Maybe there could be more? Maybe earlier? Yeah maybe. But it's definitely there. I see this show tries to get its message across in a very subdued way. Maybe they should have made things clearer.
What a beauty! It's very simple, almost like there's not much going on, but the irresistible dynamics between the leads make it so worth watching, as well as the nice side-characters. The setting with the beach and the light color schemes bring so much peace. I loved everything. I'm a sucker for these simple dramas and also japanese, at that! And once again, I'm in love with Kura Yuki.
To take a break from my usual griping about this series I will speculate as to the revelation that will explain…
I'm pretty sure the restaurant being named "ti aspetto" (in italian) means it's directed at Seojoon bc Seojoon has history with Italy and he would understand the meaning right away (although I think he didn't).
I didn't see it that way. I think both did a great job. They both contributed equally. Its not fair to Kangmin.
What a hard question!! I guess the awkward kiss at least shows that the producers are willing to show real kissing in their KBL, while the lip touch is just tragic all around.

"In comparison to Semantic Error or Cherry Blossoms After Winter, both couples had more natural looking kisses" Which is funny because the actors in those series were doing it for the first time, while Kangmin has had the experience of doing it before and with the same actor too. You would think he'd be more used to it, but maybe he's just not very comfortable with gay kissing period.
Sadly, the series only gets worse. I waited to see if these next two episodes would turn things around but alas,…
Mess I never thought I'd see you hating on something To My Star related lmaoo. BUT I understand your points and I even agree with a few. I'm still **enjoying** the series and I'm curious to see what will happen because I do see many interesting details in the characters (well, the protagonists, bc the side characters all feel disposable to me, so far at least), but it's been a bittersweet experience.
Seems like kissing men is just not Kangmin's forte. The one kiss in S1 isn't all that either (from his part).…
I loved the fact that he initiated a kiss. I think it was a needed move for the character at this point for the audience to see bc his constant pushing away from Seojoon was making it hard for us to like him. I do think he'll pull back after this tho, which will probably be seen as another dick move... but well, baby steps, I guess. I'd love the plot of this season to have him "fighting for" Seojoon, but I'm almost sure it'll be the opposite. Unless they pull a plot twist, who knows.

What I don't understand tho is that he started out doing good! I was starting to be impressed and then he... stopped, and let the other actor do all the work.
It may be just me, but the kiss in the first season seemed more authentic. This kiss looked one-sided: Seojoon…
