i finally managed to finish this drama after trying for months. the story itself is pretty standard, but the main leads have chemistry, you can actually feel it. but honestly, what bothered me the most was Wu Lei’s acting here. what happened to him? he’s always been so good and natural in his previous dramas, but here… ugh. it’s super cringe and kinda creepy....... he gives off weird predator vibes. i never thought there’d be a day i’d criticize Wu Lei’s acting 😭😭 sorry, Wu Lei! as for Zhao Jinmai, she was amazing as always and looked absolutely pretty.
