Acting is three of a kind1. Act with mouth ( year of dog people. world greatest arguer. take it to bank), (year…
maybe it’s just for fun, even though the sentences sound kinda serious 😭 but it’s fine, i guess as adults we’re just past that 12-year-old gaming phase now 😂😂😂
lu yuxiao is a natural beauty with solid acting skills. she doesn’t overdo her expressions or try to sound childish. she’s just really easy to watch on screen. all she needs are a good script and a co-star with talent and charisma.
I started kdrama in 2012, boys over flowers my first k drama it was 25 episode, then slowly episode of kdrama…
what you said was the old rules. in 2020, the NRTA did recommend that dramas shouldn’t have more than 40 episodes, and if they wanted to exceed that, getting approval would be harder and they’d be told to split it into two seasons with a long break between airings. but by mid-2025, that rule was lifted, so now dramas can actually go over 40 episodes and getting approval isn’t hard.
pretty, above average acting skill, doesn't afraid to look not pretty on screen, no stupid marketing to mediaplay herself, and just mind her own business. i really like zhang jingyi!
Little rants about the characters in AIB season 3:
* Arisu: Honestly, he was fine now. He looked good and didn’t look like a mess anymore. Character-wise, he was still likeable.
* Usagi: Total downgrade. I really liked her in the previous seasons, but in this one, she just felt off. Nothing about her this season was well written, and I didn’t like how she was kind of touchy with Ryuji.
* Ryuji: Such an annoying jerk. I seriously didn’t get his purpose. Fine, he was curious about the Borderland, but once he got there, that curiosity should’ve been satisfied, right? Why the hell did he have to go after someone’s wife? And his feelings didn’t even seem sincere. Like, he was thinking about another girl but also about Usagi. What the hell was that? Stupid obsession that came out of nowhere.
* Banda: This guy was just plain dumb. He admired Arisu and thought he was perfect for the Borderland, so his plan to make Arisu stay was to bring Usagi, but then he also wanted to kill Usagi so Arisu would stay? Make it make sense. Did he really think if Arisu stayed, they’d be friends or something? Obviously not. Arisu would’ve totally come back for revenge. If he was that bored in the Borderland, he should’ve just chosen to return to the real world instead of causing problems.
* Yaba: No idea what his purpose here; he was literally just there to agree with whatever Banda said and didn't show up anymore.
* Rei: Felt like she only existed for aura farming, but even that didn’t work because she wasn’t cool at all. She just came off as cringe since she didn’t have that star factor. She couldn’t even be compared to the iconic female characters like Ann, Kuina, Usagi, Mira, or Heiya.
* Tetsu, Shion, Kazuya, Nobu, etc.: Completely forgettable. I honestly didn’t care about them.
* Yuna: IDGAF too but the ending bothered me. At least they should’ve given her a scene grieving her brother in the real world or something. But no, they immediately showed her happily dating and having fun. Girl, your brother literally risked everything in the Borderland just to prioritize you! Come on, Yuna, have some emotional consistency!
