What matters is the intention behind it. A person won’t grow or change unless they go through situations that force them to rethink their mindset. He was so focused on himself in relationships, so it makes sense that he’d end up wasting his entire life on someone other than himself. The fact that the girl wasn’t innocent and did terrible things doesn’t justify what he did to her.also the opera actress was attached to him , for right or wrong, but he never actually cared for her. they all get what they deserve. It's life.

actually he was very famous since fangs of fortune. people have different standards. I have high standards for rating dramas and I don't base it on enjoyment only. I consider if the pace kept me hooked all along and if the the writing, details and character building were up to expectations ,at least .

yeah 💯 her acting is just fine but her character, I can't bring myself to love her character. I don't mind grey characters but sometimes she's very shallow. also the romantic dynamic is a little , better say not my type. to me also this is 8/10 so far bot sometimes 7.5/10.

I agree that it really depends. But I also see a lot of hardcore fans here. I don't really follow international trends, but Yanan was all over my feed on Chinese apps during Veil of Shadows, and he gained so many fans around that time. This drama doesn't suck, but it does have its flaws. Still, people label it as perfect, probably because they're such hardcore fans that even calling the pacing slow or fast makes their blood boil.from my personal experience though.
