I love that both main leads are terrible people. Their actions and the way they think are questionable and that’s exactly what I like about this show. I want to watch them grow, change, and become better... they're slowly improving.

Yeah, I agree. A couple of little things stood out to me: how comfortable she was sitting on his lap right after the murder attempt, and how easily she fell asleep next to him in his car. And then there was that one time she was impressed by how he treated those orphans. When you misjudge someone and then realize you were wrong, you end up with a soft spot for them. I don’t think she had a crush on him but she was definitely attracted to him.

So would you drop or underrate a movie like American Psycho, Taxi Driver, or Joker just because the main lead is morally corrupt? Do you really believe that people who enjoy these kinds of movies agree with what a murderer did?

If you don't understand why people are enjoying this drama, you're free to ignore it. It's a good drama. It doesn't need rainbows, green-flag male leads, and flat romance to be worth watching.
People aren't enjoying it because they agree with the characters' actions. They're enjoying it because they understand it's a story—not a fictional stand-in for the partner or romance they don't have. and the drama is doing a good job bringing this story to life.
I love dark romance like this. Only a few people get why this kind of story is enjoyable. It's like the feeling you get from a good horror movie. every morally wrong action gives you a thrill, but it's pure fiction, just for fun. A lot of people don't connect with this kind of story, so they should honestly just avoid it.
Why did they have to give so many details? When a story ends in joy, I like to imagine them there—laughing, together, suspended in time. But this one walked me through every year, every change, every quiet fade. It gave me no choice but to accept that they are all gone. Not just the story but them. It's really an ending. everything has ended. that's why I felt so empty after finishing it. It was a good drama but - sigh...
Personally, I've watched way too many revenge dramas with badass female leads this year, so this one just isn't doing it for me. The production quality is decent, but it feels a bit overdone right now. I'll save it for when I'm in the mood.
I absolutely love this drama. The characters are fantastic, the pacing is spot-on, and nothing feels exaggerated. It gives us the time we need to understand and connect with the characters. Unlike some newer C-dramas that throw a hundred plot points at you in the blink of an eye, this one doesn't force the thriller aspect. The dialogue is mostly free of cheesiness, and there are so many little details to appreciate.
Why do people talk about screen time like this is a music video? 😭 Imagine a drama where the ML or whoever just stares at the camera for 45 minutes per episode for 36 episodes. That would be the worst drama ever, and nobody would want to watch it except fans. One minute of screen time in a drama with a coherent plot and balanced characters is far more impressive than forced, extra, unnecessary time given to one character, whith dramatic music playing in the bg.
Loving it so far. Stunning cinematography and locations. Great acting. Not boring at all .pace is perfect, not too fast or slow. Directing is good too.
At the start of this drama, I really didn't like the ML. His introduction gave me the impression that he was quite shallow—he had multiple wives and appeared to be only physically drawn to the FL. I even dropped the show once because of him, but later decided to give it another try. To my surprise, he actually grew on me. He proved to be a good person and made me reconsider my initial judgment. Despite its length, the show rarely got boring. I skipped a few scenes here and there, but I enjoyed the vast majority of it.
