Loved the pilot episode! It was cute and light-hearted and I think Lee Minho and Jun Jihyun have good chemistry…
Yeah, I love that LMH is playing a con artist here bc he fits this type of character so much better than a high school student who was just really in love (smh Kim Tan). Anyhow, you could totally feel the chemistry + their deep connection through their gazes alone.
Omg, I'm actually really impressed with LSK's acting so far. I love the trio, Bokjoo and her friends are hilarious and relatable. Also, damn... Nam Joohyuk is such glorious eye-candy, I love how he's playing a swimmer again. Anyhow, I really enjoyed the first episode - this is definitely my type of drama. That ending though! //massive heart eyes
Loved the pilot episode! It was cute and light-hearted and I think Lee Minho and Jun Jihyun have good chemistry so far. Jun Jihyun as a mermaid is just gorgeous, she's so beautiful.
THIS EPISODE WAS WAY TOO INTENSE OMG. So many things to say.
But first, BAEKAHHHHHHHHHH... why would you do that. ㅠㅠ Not to be that kind of person, but the king was going to pass soon anyways... why oh why. I'm not ready for tomorrow's episode tbh, I'm going to empty a lot of tissue boxes 'cause Baekah was definitely the nicest, most pure-hearted prince imo. I don't think any of the other princes would have sacrificed themselves in that situation. My poor heart... I'm going to miss him a lot.
Next, I'm really falling for So's character. I feel like he deserves her so much more than Wook. In this episode, he was even willing to give up the throne in order to run away and live with Hae Soo and that says a lot about his character. Honestly, it feels like Wook is just making excuses; he tells himself he wants the throne so that he can be at the highest position and take Hae Soo back, but he's power-hungry as well. In my opinion, Soo is going to return the bracelet that he gave her soon. In the preview for the next ep, it looks like she's finally starting to realize that he has changed.
I have to prepare myself for the impending heartbreak. So much is going to happen in the next few weeks so we really have to brace ourselves. I'm not looking forward to So's marriage with Yeonhwa (I'm hoping that it doesn't happen but I think it will...). At the same time, I'm really looking forward to the development of Sosoo's relationship and the fight for the throne as well. It looks like the fight is going to begin tomorrow, really excited for that.
Btw, I can really see the gradual transition of Wook's character and how he has began to show his darker qualities. His hesitant personality demonstrated earlier in the drama (i.e. when he was hesitant to reprimand his sister's actions when she was punishing Soo and her maid) is shown yet again (i.e. avoiding Soo because he cannot "promise" her anything, and in my opinion, it's also because he feels guilty for "abandoning" her when she needed him the most). I really like how they touched on that personality trait of his even in the early episodes, and demonstrated the aftermath of his choices.
I'm really enjoying the drama so far, but I just have one complaint. I feel like it should have been a bit longer. Episode 12 seemed a little rushed, not just because of the 1 year time skip, but I felt like they didn't have enough time to develop certain relationships (i.e. Baekah and Woohee's relationship - they didn't have many scenes together and then all of a sudden she started liking him this ep when she didn't like him at the start). Another example is Woohee /sort of/ confiding in Hae Soo, I believe episode 12 was their first meeting and I was kind of confused how they knew each other. I wish they had a little bit more time to develop these side character relationships, but other than that, I'm really enjoying the drama and I'm so excited to see what will unfold in the following weeks.
Edit: After watching ep 13, so glad Baekah didn't die omg. The ending of ep 12 totally threw me off LOL.
THE SIGN LANGUAGE PART WAS SO CUTE OMG!!!! Lee Yeong's heartfelt confession without words was absolutely beautiful, and the emotions that he conveyed through his eyes, I am in awe of Bogum's acting (once again). And the ending omg, Ra-on looks so gorgeous!
Can't wait for tomorrow, although it looks sad since the "political" marriage will happen soon ;;; But still, the preview where our crown prince continuously teases "Ra-on ah!~ Ra-on ah!~" is making my knees weak hasfkasdflk.
After watching the preview for episode 8, I have a feeling Crown Prince Yeong already knows that Eunuch Hong is a girl ;;; Just a feeling though.
When Ra-on asked him "Have you ever loved a woman before?" and he answers yes, I get the feeling that he is referring to her? ('cause I highly doubt he would say he loves Ha-yeon) and even though he was captivated by Ra-on's dancing in ep 4 and wanted to know who the mysterious dancer was, I'm not sure if he would describe his curiosity/interest in her as love?
AHHHHHH I CAN'T WAIT FOR TOMORROW. Also, the ending of episode 7 oh my goodness. That dialogue and the kiss that followed. KJAKLSDJASKD. The Park Bogum effect is so strong in this one, I just think of Crown Prince all night. And I love Bogummy and Yoojung's chemistry, our leads are so pretty and perfect together asdfasdf.
Just watched the movie since it was playing in the theatres where I live! 10/10 would recommend, it's hard to…
I watched it at the movie theatre since it was playing where I live (Toronto @ the Yonge-Dundas AMC) !!! I hope it comes out online soon though 'cause I already want to watch it again!
Just watched the movie since it was playing in the theatres where I live! 10/10 would recommend, it's hard to name something I didn't like about this film. As a fan of zombie apocalypse movies, I honestly think this is one of the best I've ever watched. Everything was so on point: the casting (everyone in the theatre laughed every time Ma Dong-seok said something tbh he was amazing! + the eye candy & amazing acting from Gong Yoo, the little girl was so cute & so talented as well and just everyone tbh), the character development + plot, & the action scenes. I laughed, cried, & got shocked; I experienced a wave of emotions. During the full 2 hours, my eyes were glued to the screen. So so so good. I would totally go watch it again in theatres. It's definitely one of my favourite films.
Already obsessed! Can't wait for tonight's episode. Love everything about it so far - the unique and creative storyline (I get chills every time Yeonjoo goes into the webtoon omg), the cute heart-fluttering scenes b/w Yeonjoo & Kang Chul, the fitting OST, & the hilarious dialogue - JUST EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. LEE JONGSUK IS SO HANDSOME TOO. He really looks like the main lead of a webtoon so the casting is just so on point. Love it so much.
I'm soooo excited for this! I read more about the plot on Soompi and it sounds very refreshing and complex. Also, Lee Jong-suk has a good eye for picking scripts most of the time. So excited to see LJS on screen again. I'm also looking forward to Han Hyo-joo's return to the small screen, can't believe the last drama she did before this was Dong Yi. Oh, and I'm also glad that Lee Tae-hwan is in this! He's an actor with a lot of potential to be a rising star imo!
Also, I heard that the director of the production company of Sign, Three Days, and TWTWB said that while he was reading the script, it was as if he was watching a brilliant American TV series/movie and that it was the most brilliant script he's seen for a while. I'm so curious!!! I hope it will be able to satisfy the withdrawal symptoms I've experienced since watching Signal lol.
okay, I don't know if this is confirmed but even though I adore Chang Wook, I'll be so disappointed if he's going…
Yes same omg. Those slight smiles and the fact that he did so much for Bai Cao and never asked for anything in return. :-( I'm also sad 'cause they never showed that Bai Cao realized that the strawberry hairclip was given by Ruo Bai ;___; I want my own Ruo Bai!!! And yes I'm really sad that they're acting like RB/BC couple never existed...
Like I don't understand how they're going to tie his character up?? I'm just sad that they're creating a new love interest for Bai Cao when I just want to see RB/BC since there weren't enough cute moments in the first season and they basically got together in the last 25 minutes so... ;___;
