Lol, I definitely do know what chemistry is and it feels flat here imo. Maybe it's the plot but Bai Lu has way more chem with her costars in other dramas. To each their own though...
Recently rewatched for the millionth time — this will always be my favorite drama ever. The memories I have watching this with my mother as a kid are still so vivid.
I definitely agree with you about Dosan being uncommon. He is really refreshing in the sense that he's a male…
Yes, yes, exactly! Dosan is so undeniably human and you can't help but love that about him. It's also funny you mention about Dalmi being comfortable around him considering they both haven't had any experiences in dating/relationships haha.
Reading all these comments about how Jipyeong deserves to be the ML and there is one point I need to highlight.…
I definitely agree with you about Dosan being uncommon. He is really refreshing in the sense that he's a male lead that has no previous connection to the female lead whatsoever lol. No childhood bond with her, power, fame, status, or money. He's literally working his way up from the bottom of the barrel. It's fascinating when you think about his potential character-wise so I'm really rooting for him in terms of career and romance. I also might be wrong but I feel like the writers are aiming towards a romance where both the female and male lead can grow together.
He treats them as adults, I would not call him toxic. they are not children. If they want to succeed they need…
It's clear that Samsan Tech's lacking in many areas but I think there's a certain way that you can deliver criticism without being downright mean and dismissive of a person's character. Maybe because I'm a children's teacher myself and I'm bringing my own teaching experiences into how I interpret things, but I don't like or agree with how he did it. I know it's supposed to depict the harsh reality of the working environment, but it still felt dehumanizing. Call me naive, but I believe that positive guidance and effective teamwork will lead to more beneifical outcomes in the longrun. In addition, I don't think Dosan was annoyed; like a comment said, I think he was just coming from a place of hurt. I also saw it as he came to terms that he clearly needed to improve on running Samsan Tech. I thought it was a great kickoff in his character development so I'm rooting for him. If anyone wants to read a great article about authentic leadership, "Discovering your authentic leadership" by George, Sims, McLean, & Mayer is a really good read btw!
The second male lead is incredibly mean and toxic imo; the way he treats Samsan Tech and sees them as inferior is something I can't stand by. I simply do not understand how he has so many supporters. Dosan all the way.. regardless of his flaws, he's humble, tender, and is a person who's aware of his own flaws and insecurities. He also has good instincts despite what everyone around thinks of him. That makes him such a lovable and likable character.
Yes I feel the same, I want to watch more moments with the students and their reaction with Go Woo Young's strange…
I agree. I'd much rather watch bonding scenes between Woo Young and Shi woo/Shi ah... the second lead adds nothing new to the table so these additional scenes with him in it is not really making sense to me.
