Off to a decent start, the leads are fine in my opinion. The last time I've seen Doo Joon act was in Splash Splash Love, which was pleasantly surprising, so I'm hoping he'll do well. And I love Kim So Hyun, what a darling. I don't mind the age gap and how young she obviously looks compared to everyone. It makes her character's sincerity more authentic and genuine because let's face it, girl can act. However, I do have to say some of the characters feel so offputting, especially Geu Rim's mother... it's like her character is so one-dimensional... Plot-wise, a little slow since it is only the beginning. But, I'm interested.
Amidst of all the heavy emotions, I absolutely love the little comedic scenes they include. Like the part where Sang Man starts reading that erotic book to Kang Doo as a goodnight story and Kang Doo opening the cabinet to find out Granny stuffed it with unhealthy food. Amazing.
Noooooooo, the way he forced her to let go of his hand in episode 9. Ouch, that HURTS. Gosh, that scene was so beautiful. Kang Doo's puppy eyes, his gulps, and how he was looking at Moon Soo like he didn't want her to walk away from him. Man, so much feelings.
Glad Do Hwan has a lead role in this. Also, there's always room for improvement so I'm genuinely excited for Joy. Keep striving for progress and success in the acting world, queen. Show them you can do it.
Lee Kang Doo, my new favorite male character of 2017, alongside Save Me's Dong Cheol. I haven't felt so much love for the main leads of a drama since... forever. These characters have faults, but it makes them more likable. Not to mention, their chemistry is impeccable.
One of those dramas that grows on you. Man, the latest episode really hit me out of the blue. The anger he was feeling thinking that he's in love with a "robot" transcended onscreen perfectly.
I don't dislike Yoo Taek (the director or w/e) as much as I should... and maybe that's the writers' intent because I LOVE the dynamic between him and the club owner. however, I still find the second male lead very... tacky? Every scene that his character is in just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
Went to give this drama a second chance for my baby, jieun, after dropping it about ten episodes in, a year ago. While the plot/writing was questionable, I did shed tears because of her acting. Well done, love. Baekhyun also surprised me too. It'd be nice to see him in another drama.
it can't just be me but i felt that throughout the drama, the chemistry between the main couple started dwindling? i didn't see the explosive sparks like i did in the first episode. (the first ep is still one of my favorite pilots ever, wow.) and weirdly, jongsuk's acting in this was not as strong as it usually is? don't get me wrong, i cried like a baby during his crying scenes. it simply wasn't compelling enough and appeared awkward at times. however, for suzy, yay for improvement. overall, not a terrible drama, but not the best.

You deserve it, king.

Wow, I'm already sold.
