Whatever pasting this as a review..... I don't want this comment to get lost😭
Lol, thank you, I'm glad others agree with me about this awesome BL.

I cried so much at the end, my heart ached at the bittersweetness of it. Overall, a great movie totally worth watching. I always seem to accidentally stumble upon the sad stuff, lol.
On An Elephant Sitting Still Aug 12, 2022
I watched this for Peng Yu Chang, he's such a good actor and so diverse in his roles. If you liked this, you should check out his other movie called The Last Wish, super angsty and incredibly sad with a hint of humor to lessen the pain.

Oh, I thought it was censored adaptation of Same-sex romance. I haven't seen the show myself, nor read the book.…
I understand, I just wanted to let you know it's not BL, neither is the book series, there's even a faint indicated f/m romance between Wu Xie and A Ning, so there is only a strong bromance. I see why some would think and label it as BL, but the show and the books I have read do not have BL tags. It's okay, I just didn't want others to see it and be interested just to be disappointed, the bromance is definitely worth watching, though, so I recommend watching the series if you want.

Ultimate Note/The Lost Tomb Series (including Sound of The Providence) isn't a BL, I don't know if that was a mistake or if the bromance may have tricked you. I don't mean to be rude or anything. In the book series, there is no romance between Zhang Qiling and Wu Xie, but there is a bromance and that's why they're shipped a lot. And while I wish it was a BL, unfortunately, it is not. I just wanted to let you know, because I didn't want others to get disappointed. This is a long list and thank you for working so hard on it! 💜

do we really need a S2 though?
I think they could do a lot for a season 2, I don't believe they killed off the virus that easily, there's bound to be someone with the virus still in them, maybe fast forwarding to a year or so later would be good, then another outbreak occurring and Cheongsan comes back! Or Cheongsan is really dead and the second season would be an opportunity to move things forward for the characters from Season 1. I would watch it.

gave me yeÅŸilçam vibes. I didnt like that the cast was 30 year old men playing as 18 year olds. and the story…
I get what you're saying. But it's kinda normal to have older actors play teenagers and younger adults, I think mainly because they have more experience and are less likely to mess up rather than having a younger actor with less experience do it and take more time to get through a scene (though I just assume since I see a lot of older actors in Kdramas and BLs play younger roles like in high-school or even middle school). As for the plot, I agree that it is over-used and predictable, but Korea doesn't give BLs a lot of production time or money for them to flesh out the full potential of the plot and execute it well. Take To My Star for example, that BL was beautiful but super short and super fast-paced with a simple plot that I kinda already knew where it was going, but it was enjoyable and fun. Also with Cherry Blossoms After Winter, having read the webtoon long ago (maybe a year or so) I watched the show and didn't have much trouble filling in the gaps and such, but I still wish it had more time to fully explore the plot of this beautiful webtoon I read - there was a lot more drama in the webtoon than the show, while others who didn't read the webtoon struggled to enjoy its full potential. So the fault isn't on the show or even the directors or screenwriter/production staff, it has to do with Korea still being very conservative. China does this,as well. Not that either are bad countries, and I am not bashing either one (I like both countries and what they bring to the world entertainment wise), but I am just pointing out that while there are lots of great BLs in China and Korea, the potential of them will never be fully explored unless something changes.
On Where Your Eyes Linger Aug 10, 2022
Omg, I loved this. I watched To My Star and then the awesome second season To My Star 2. I need a season two of Where Your Eyes Linger, I loved the fluffy angst that wasn't too dramatic or boring, it was just right. This is a definite watch, cute, soft, angsty, with a spicy chemistry between the two leads. And Tae Joo just screams confidence and seduction, poor Gang Kook, always getting flustered from Tae Joo's flirting.

Let me just start by saying wow, that was something else. I loved the whole show, the raw emotion and the love and the dribbles of humor here and there. I was skeptical at first, thinking "how long is this loop thing gonna go on until it gets boring and repetitive? What will the plot do then?" but I told myself to shut up and finish this show, and I am so glad I did. It was heart-warming watching Tin and Tol meet each other more and more with each loop, seeing their love blossom and bloom. Tin was an exceptional character, full of emotions and realism and I just couldn't have loved him more than I did the moment he learned that Tol wasn't as bad as he thought and he immediately admitted it to himself. Tol was beautiful as well, his character was misunderstood, and yet he had a certain gravitational pull, I wanted to see more and more of him as the show went on.

He showed a lot of acceptance for himself when he discovered he liked Tin, opening up without the drama (though I do love the drama in other BLs), it was refreshing. Like a cold can of pop (soda or coke if you aren't from Midwest/West) on a summer day. I enjoyed the humor that Tin's and Tol's friends provided, I loved watching Gap and Sing go at it just for Gap to start cussing up a storm. One of the funniest parts of the show was watching Tol and Jinta bicker and argue over everything, Jinta even getting exasperated at Tol's behavior at some point. And I love, love tragedy. The tragedy is hard to accomplish without it being super unappealing and heavy, but here I was both terrified and excited to see it. I even had to skip the memorial/shrine for Tin when he died, my heart breaking into two as I ugly-cried even though I knew there were quite a bit of episodes so clearly something had to happen.

I loved this, and you should definitely watch it, if you read the small spolier do not let it stop you. I promise it gets better.

Title I Promised You the Moon Spoiler
I just finished these both in two days. This and To My Star are the best BLs I have ever seen so far, both in the reality of the situations and the reality of life itself. Life is unpredictable, and sometimes when two people love each other, that doesn't mean they will never ever break up or look to someone else for comfort. What Teh did was awful, but I think he was just hypnotized by Jai because of his work ethic and his ability to relate to him, so I understand that while what he did was awful, I kinda get how he could have gotten so confused. I gotta say one of the best parts would be Oh breaking up with Teh, they needed that distance and that separation to really, really think and grow. Teh learned a lot about himself, as did Oh, and yes they both developed so damn well I was shaken by the rawness of their relationship. I didn't want to watch this because I saw FMVs on it and knew that Teh would feel like that for someone else, but after forcing myself to watch the first episode of the first season, I am pissed at myself for not watching it sooner. I see what the hype is about, and it will take a lot for another BL to top this one. The BL industry has got its work cut out for itself. This was beautiful and I cried and laughed and related to these characters as if they were real. This is definitely worth a watch, please consider watching this if you haven't - it can be heavy, but it has the beauty of love and the ugliness of it as well, and it's funny and can be light-hearted. Give this series a chance, you won't regret it. Lol, almost everyone that commented below me (and possibly above me in the future) wrote almost a whole two paragraphs about this show.

I remember I first discovered him when I watched The Lost Tomb Reboot, his song Infinity was the ending song in the OST and I fell in love with it. At first, I thought it was a woman (not a bad thing) but when I found out it was a man, I was absolutely stunned and amazed at the pitch he could reach. I listened to a whole bunch of his songs, and I don't even know what he's saying but I just like his voice. Thanks for making this post, more people internationally should know him and his amazing talents! 💜

I think people definitely need to watch this with an open mind. I believe that the more your family members get close to death, the sadder shows and movies about it are. For example, in my dad's side of the family, all of his older relatives (and mother) have died at the age of 52, or a little bit older so my dad is 49 and already come to terms with dying, so I was thinking of that a lot while watching this and it made the show very relatable and surreal. I loved Geu-Ru, he was so amazing, and he really captured the essence of life and death and the people that are left behind. I also enjoyed Lee Je hoon's portrayal of such a complex character, coming to terms with the sorrow of losing someone while also learning to move on with life and learning to let people in. It was really eye-opening, and this show is really sad (with touches of humor to break the tension) so I appreciated that. Not to mention the production, the purity of it was beautiful. Geu-Ru was my favorite, though, because he has the most beautiful personality I'd seen in a character. Give this show a try, I swear you will not regret it.

"I should do something at least..." Those words broke me, and I can't help but feel anger for Cho Suk-Bong and all the other men that have to go through such treatment for giving two years of their lives (which they will never get back) to protect the country. I know the military mandate is a security comfort (in case war breaks out), but I don't believe anyone deserves the treatment I watched these men go through in this show. Lim Ji-Seop revived himself in the end, though, so I loved that character development, he realized that if he didn't do something then there was a big chance an innocent, abused soldier would die at the hands of his comrades (though they were a**holes)

A lot of people are saying they didn't like a lot of it because it wasn't like the manhwa, but to be honest it was a very, very short show with only 11 episodes and the longest being 18 minutes, so I doubt they had a lot of the manhwa in mind when filming. I also see a lot of people saying that To My Star 2 was bad, but I don't get how? I understand that not reading the manhwa means that you don't get the full story, but in my opinion both of these shows were amazing (both seasons). I watched Cherry Blossoms After Winter (because I read the manhwa a while back) and I loved it, sure it didn't follow a lot of the manhwa and A LOT of scenes were not there, but I understood that it was just because the show was short on time and production. My point is, the real blame for most of what you would consider a "bad" live action of BL manhwas is the fact that Korea never gives the shows much time to even delve into the story. The producers and script writers just wrote what would make sense while also getting some of the story across. I liked it, and would rewatch it again. I say give it a try and see for yourself. No hate, just love, folks 💜

Have you ever watched Alice in Borderland? Or HIGH&LOW The Story of S.W.O.R.D? If not, those are definitely dramas worth a watch if you're looking to expand your list or watch new things.

I really loved this! If only Korean BLs got more production time and episodes, this would be a massive hit if it had more length to it. I'll just sit back and enjoy this for the time being, I love hidden gems.
