Is that a bad "Dear God"? Lol. I understand if you don't like it, lots of people just prefer more backbone and plot in their BLs.

TBH this drama wasn't BL to me at all...It felt nothing...Every short coming was so visible that it took me enough…
I looked at it as a sort of "shut your brain off" show where you should watch this after watching a really heavy, emotional BL. It'll make you feel better, because you don't have to think much, just enjoy the handsome characters and cuteness. Though, I understand why some people are disappointed, I believe every entertainment genre needs shows like this where you can sort of... Just watch it? Like, I don't know how to explain it lol. I enjoyed the fluff.

It's a cute, simple story with pretty one-dimensional (in a fun way) characters. You can just sit back and gush at the cuteness and fluff, there wasn't much angst but I do like that Baram confronted his feelings later on. They're cute, awesome ost, and the chemistry is lovely 🌹 Do watch if you like fluff and adorably charming boys

Lol, after watching this I believe the rating should be 18+ considering there is nudity, gay porn is shown a bit, as well as a lot of cursing and explicit insults. I LOVED this movie I was crying and happy and embarrassed all at once, the two main leads had chemistry and were so freaking hot-- besides the homophobia, I liked almost every aspect of this movie. It shows a lot of growth in Ming-Han's behavior and personality, he grew to care for others and understand that he shouldn't judge all gay people based on one person. I loved it, 10/10

Oh wait Shi Mei is a boy?? I thought "Mei" was meant to be a girl lol
No problem! I look forward to the show and this is the first novel of a BL I have read, so I'm not much of a BL novel reader either. Let's wait patiently 😌😆

In the novel Shi Mei is a boy, and his name is misleading. Moran clarifies that he is a boy indeed, Moran is actually very sexual and openly gay in the novel, so he doesn't really care what people think. Except his Shizun, who is going to be vital to the whole story and this show. Let me know if you want some trigger/content warnings for the novels of you decided to read them.

I just read the first two novels of the series and I'm so looking forward to this. I REALLY need to see this novel come to life. I just hate the censorship, Shi Mei is a boy in the novel, but since he's Moran's love interest (on the surface) they will cast his character as a girl. Ugh 😫 you should read the novel, though, it's amazing.

They already started filming.
I found a photo on twitter that showed (presumedly) the producers and staff for All Of Us Are Dead - a new scene, not from season two, so maybe they did start? Idk, it's blurry and clearly leaked, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see. This could also be false, I couldn't find anything from the cast or producers themselves.

Does anyone know what the release schedule for this is?
Episodes 9-10 will be released on May 6th, then the last two episodes will be released on May 13th, I believe. Let me know if I'm wrong.

Title Young Adult Matters Spoiler
I kinda get why a lot of people don't understand this movie, but it's kinda realistic? And to say it's trash is a bit much - maybe y'all have never witnessed a troubled teen growing up in a messed up household and school life, but as someone who has a very dysfunctional family with a lot of siblings, I can say this is a great film depicting a type of reality of troubled and abandoned teens. Maybe it's not your reality, but that doesn't mean it's not anyone else's. First off, she is taking care of her sister, who is pretty dependent on her until she is forced to become independent, and Se-Jin is not the one who needs to be taking care of a fourteen year old girl - let alone a baby, so her trying to get an abortion may have seemed like the only option for her, no?

And Se-Jin meets these young adults who are all screwed up in the head, but they band together to help her, and due to her selfishness they all turn except for Ju-yeong. Se-Jin is a very unique character, not shy, hiding behind a smile and crazy attitude to numb herself until all she can do is smile and act childish. I admit, the whole bully/girlfriend getting smashed under a trailer was shocking and a bit random(?), but other than that it seemed to push her to leave home. Se-Jin is a teen with issues, abandoned, and due to being abandoned - she left her sister because in the back of her mind she knew her sister is better off without her.

I quite liked the film. I understand why others would find it off-putting, but to call it trash? I liked it and I'm happy I found it.

I don't think he really means to bully him. He didn't have a problem until Guangyan laughed at what Yiyong wrote…
It's just my assumption so I could be wrong, but the connection between them is unmistakable 😊

Does anyone has sciorrors? I wanna cut his mullet 🤣🤣 on a side note why does Yi Yong bully Guang Yan 🤷‍♀️
I don't think he really means to bully him. He didn't have a problem until Guangyan laughed at what Yiyong wrote for his future on that one assignment they had, then their issues started - the only time I would see as bullying would be hitting him with a basketball, a soccer ball and volleyball. Other than that, I haven't seen anything (I think he only punched him because he was startled and didn't want to talk to him, freaked out by the spirit in ep 3-4) and Guangyan and everyone else just seemed to assume the worst, hence him falling down the stairs because he was scared of Yiyong, who was only passing by.

Good all the shots gives me a BL vibe.. sad is not one...arggg
It has great bromance, though, so I look forward to it and maybe they'll hint at a romantic relationship between Guangyan and Yiyong? We just gotta wait and see.
Replying to Feardorcha Apr 25, 2023
Bromance. I mean, the two male leads *could* be headed toward a romantic relationship, if you squint a bit.
I could definitely see elements of BL in this drama. Plus, the show acknowledged a gay character (ep 1, a boy was confessing to Guangyan), so I could see them hinting at it without explicitly making it so. I believe I saw a sneak peak of an episode where they sleep in Yiyong's bed together.

This is not a romance drama and I doubt there will be one among main leads. Honestly, writing in romance plot…
Definitely, I agree. And the cop (the FL) is so funny, I usually don't like female side characters as police officers/detectives (I always felt they were too nosy and pushy), but she's so funny, and super sweet, while not being a pushover.

It says great demon on iQiyi too. In the intro in episode 1 they mention something about a demon but it hasn’t…
Maybe he means his comics he makes? Idk, it confused me too, so I was just going along with it. I can't wait for the next episode lol, this is why I avoid these dramas until they're fully released, but I saw a clip of this on Tiktok and immediately needed to watch the bromance unfold.
This could have been better, but it was fun and cute (while sometimes making my skin itch because I HATE BUGS, *shudders*), and I do like the actor, he was amazing and did only what he could with the screenwriting (he wrote none of it, keep in mind) so everyone saying he doesn't match Wu Xie, I think he got the general behavior across. Wu Xie does nag a bit, he is VERY persistent, and it's not that he didn't trust Fatty, it's that he was going through such a hard time with his uncle being secretive, everyone around him lying to him, Lang Feng being ruthlessly blown up (though he did betray them, Wu Xie is not his cold-blooded uncle), and Xiaoge was gone for most of the show so Wu Xie was feeling trapped and unsafe.

But, I do think that this show could have used better screenwriting, you could tell they sort of sped through stuff in order to get the information out. However, the best adaptations in my opinion are The Lost Tomb, Ultimate Note, and Sound of Providence.
On Under the Skin Mar 12, 2023
I'm not gonna lie, I totally ship Du Cheng and Shen Yi. Their chemistry is off the charts, the care, the pure bromance and how Du Cheng is always worried about him, wondering where he is, what he's doing, if he is in trouble or needs help.

My heart can't take it 😂
On Ossan's Love: In the Sky Feb 1, 2023
Title Ossan's Love: In the Sky Spoiler
I don't know if anyone will agree with me but I think Captain Kurosawa was too old for Haruta. It would have been fine if they had built the relationship up, put in extra scenes of Haruta maybe wanting to be closer to the Captain rather than him confessing to Naruse? That part was weird to me, because if you watched it for the first time you would assume those two would end up together-

Examples: the hand holding, Naruse being flirty with Haruta, Naruse kissing Haruta in the beginning of the season (which was explained but one would think that would create tension between the two characters), then you have Shino rejecting Naruse so Haruta could be happy? And not to mention the way that Haruta was clearly upset that Naruse rejected him the day before he confessed to the Captain? If he hadn't been upset, they should have made Haruta look less sad or awkward about it.

There were a lot of things that should have changed, but I liked the new characters (though Maki is my baby), especially Reiji - I kinda shipped him and Haruta as well, because they had good chemistry and were very similar in some aspects.

Overall, I've watched almost all the remakes (the Hong Kong one is my favorite to be honest), and this would be ranked pretty low, but it wasn't the actors that did it because they made me cry multiple times, no, it was the bad writing later on.

But watch it yourself and make your own judgement.
