I think, in season 3 they will show us Xie Lian's past life. Now only I have trust on anime team. Only they can…
True. The second arc in the second book actually delves into some of Xie Lian's background and his past. I honestly cried a bit when reading everything he went through later on.
For anyone wanting to watch the anime, season 1 follows the first book, season 2 ends with the first Arc of the second book (when Xie Lian's cousin -no spoiler- and Xie Lian are fighting) If there is a season 3 coming, I supposed it would start with the second arc of the second book and maybe end with the beginning of the 3rd. Just an assumption, but let me know if you have any more information.
Sorry, but they are different person. LAN ZHAN is a human and XIE LIAN a God. So they are best in their own world.…
It's crazy, it almost seems like you didn't understand what I meant. I wasn't saying one was bad and one was good. I wasn't comparing Xie Lian and Lan Zhan, I was comparing Hua Cheng and Lan Zhan. As for the whole "God" and "human" thing, they are both supernatural beings. Hua Cheng is immortal, and Lan Zhan is also a cultivator with Longevity, so it isn't a bad thing or outrageous to compare LOYALTY. I didn't compare strengths or abilities. I love The Untamed, and did I say it was bad or that Lan Zhan couldn't compare? Or that I was being biased? I didn't mean to offend you, but I didn't disrespect any BLs by simply saying what I said above. I support both, it just so happens I support this one the most right now. Also, I was using Lan Zhan's devotion as a comparison because his devotion was super strong to Wei Wuxian, hence my mentioning of him and Hua Cheng.
Just finished the novels and let me say one thing: Hua Cheng's devotion to Xie Lian is THE STRONGEST out of all of the novels I've read so far. His loyalty surpassed even Lian Zhan from The Untamed which is saying a lot.
They better hurry up and release this drama, I crave it.
Open, honest, straightforward and HEALTHY. I enjoyed this and though we got dead fish kisses, it still made up for it with the fact that they threw most of the BL toxic tropes out the window. SA? Nope, baby boy Kazuhito said he wanted it consensual. Forced kissing? Kazuhito said no. Misunderstandings drawn out over five episodes? Natsukawa said miss him with that bullshit.
Overall, pretty good and fluffy, a nice watch on a lazy day at home.
And believe me, I love a good, angsty romance but this was a nice change of pace. Haruta carried the show, and I need a spin off for him.
I enjoyed this. I went in thinking it would be cute, but found a lot more. At first I almost dropped it because Kisub was irritating at first mainly due to the fact I, being stubborn, would have kicked his ass out faster than he could blink. But it was so worth staying, it turned into a sweet, humorous, yet serious drama. We all know that Balgeum made the right choice in the end because he was not in the right headspace in that moment.
For anyone who wishes to read the novels while you await this near impossible to release adaptation, you can read the first three volumes free on WebNovel. The 4th and 5th have to be bought, and the 6th is being released on August 20th this year, the 7th doesn't have a release date yet.
I refuse to believe Li Lianhua is dead and therefore will always believe that he eventually lives his life happily with his pet, his friends and his wine. I will now rewatch The Lost Tomb 2 to recover from this emotional rollercoaster.
Also, Fang Duobing and Di Feisheng love Li Lianhua and refuse to admit it. 10/10. 💕💖ðŸ˜
Hasumi and Iwaya would be content, but never happy together. At least not down the road in life. Hasumi and Iwaya are looking for a safe, secure relationship that is unlikely to fail due to it's perfect uniform and they both treated it like a business proposal (which works for some people, but not them).
Safe to say, Hasumi needed and adventurous woman, and Iwaya needed someone who already knew her beneath her perfect shell and they both deserved to be happy. It's hard to pick sides in this show mainly because Hasumi is such a sweetheart, and Takeshi is also a supporting "pet" or "friend" in this situation. He has no ill intent. Hasumi loved Iwaya, but he didn't love her enough to break his shell and actually let her in. Neither did Iwaya.
I'm happy with the way it ended. Though Fukushima irritated me, I understood she was raised as a woman that had to serve and manipulate to survive. Still, she was irritating at times.
Romance and relationships are a SPECTRUM. A relationship can mean a lot of things to you, but completely opposite to someone else. This drama is not focused on romance, it's more of a subplot, but I guarantee you will love the friendship, the family (Yuri is a great sister), the dancing and connection. Also, Asuka is one of the few women I've seen portrayed as an actual adult dealing with younger people. I loved it. 10/10.
Went in thinking it was gonna be a rom-com with cringey moments... Only to find it was all that and so much more. Family, love, trauma, secrets... But most of all every single character changed to a better version of themselves, mainly because of Chisato. She was changed in return by them. Beautiful.
This wasn't scary at all but I loved it nonetheless. I'm a horror/gore freak and I love scary stuff, but this was actually adorable and still managed to give me some chills (Bi-Dan is beautiful, but her eyes are creepy). So-Yeon is so relatable and real without a bunch of cliches (damsel in distress, hero comes and saved her, etc). Recommend.
It was cute and funny. It wasn't the best but please keep in mind it was only 8 episodes and ~20 minutes each. Also it was dealing with some pretty serious topics like stage fright and anxiety and alcohol addiction (the story was too short to really show development in a way that made sense), so they had to cram everything in together. I enjoyed the cuteness. Jiha is my soulmate, I too am single and dread watching couples be lovey dovey in real life ðŸ˜
Don't go into this with big expectations but also don't listen to the comments below because everyone's tastes are different and this story might be exactly what you need or exactly what you hate, make that choice rather than reading the comments and reviews and looking at the rating. I've found hidden gems that I never would have given a second thought if I listened to MDL word for word lol.
I really appreciate the thought and time that was put into writing this.I had to log on, seek this article out,…
Aww, thank you and I'm happy you tried a new genre, I know it isn't easy. I started watching BL and was thrown off (it was Thai BL) by the dramatics and the antics and such, so I dropped it but picked it up a year later and was like... This is actually interesting. Haven't gone back, no regret whatsoever.
I have finally finished the drama and it has taken me a full week. I liked it a lot but what makes me the saddest…
I totally get it, I've never been into VR or gaming but I enjoyed the change up in the drama. I don't know a lot about VR or videogames, so I was more interested in the gore part of it (I've loved horror movies since I was 8 years old), but the VR was a shocker to me because I honestly didn't expect such a turn yet it seemed to fit well with the drama.
They better hurry up and release this drama, I crave it.

Please, I need this to be released already ðŸ˜
