A unique, amazing take on crazy men and their predatory behavior. Da-On deserves the entire world and I am so…
Summary: Watch it. This show is both wild and entertaining at the same time. Da-On deserves to find an island and live happily unbothered for the rest of his days. Everyone is crazy, and need therapy.
A unique, amazing take on crazy men and their predatory behavior. Da-On deserves the entire world and I am so happy he was able to find that in the end, and while I love that he got with Sunghyun, I could have been happy with him simply living his life free of Jaemin and Soohyun and being able to live as he wished without the mind games.
However, the only red flag that Ju Seonghyun had was trying to sleep with Da-on while he was intoxicated. You can say, "oh, it was heat of the moment," or, "he kissed him first," but keep in mind that if you were drunk and a completely sober person kissed you while you were even asking that person to have sex with you verablly, only to later wake up in the morning and not remember what happened... yeah. So, I am glad that he stopped and it didn't go further. Now, compared to the other two men, Sunghyun is a damn saint sent from the very heavens itself, blessed with everything good in the world. I could not stand the other two, and I was very shocked at the plot twists.
Usually in BLs, I can almost predict what's going to happen in certain tropes, but this one took me for a complete loop.
by the end i actually sort of pitied her. here she was the definition of evil is not born but made.
I just finished it. Wow. I mean, she went through so much as a woman and I understand where her pain and desperation and hatred stems from, but taking it out on the innocent people of her kingdom when none of them but the old emperor could have made a different choice to save her is unacceptable. She was really naive in the end. and Shen Yurong, I hated him, then felt bad, then hated him again. He really became the victim of power oppression, but he still chose to harm his wife and her family. Fangfei handled him really well for what he put her through.

I haven't finished it, but I know I can already see where you're coming from. The world tends to make women become cruel in order to survive, and the period dramas always capture that so well. Men take advantage, and the women turn on each other because that's what they're taught.
But, I still haven't finished it, and I still hate her lmao but I'll look forward to discovering some more of her story.
I'm on ep 6 and so ready for Jiang Li's step-mom to get bitch slapped ðŸ˜she pisses me off. Fangfei is so much better than me, I would have spazzed after the third attempt on my reputation
Episode 18 and I swear this show wants to make sob. The things the people have to suffer through.
Final update: I finished it. I will never recover. Suffer with me and watch it as well.
The drama is not logical. But just watch fl and ml their screenings were quite attractive
Believe me, I tried. I do enjoy the actors' appearances but I'll just pass on this one. It's fine, some things aren't for everyone, so I'm not upset about it lol.
Thai BLs are way to unrealistic .. I've watched a couple of them but the boldness gets me off-guard .. like make…
I agree, I love a Thai BL as much as anyone, but I do need a break every now and then. It's hard to find a couple that has immediate chemistry like this one, so I enjoyed that aspect. I also loved that they gave us a backstory for the second couple of Unintentional Love Story. It's rare for a Korean BL to even make the effort.
This was my first straight Thai drama, and I just couldn't get past ep 6. I LOVE drama, suspense, evil cliche characters, but the FL kind of turned me off of this show. She constantly pursued the ML to make him leave her sister alone, but she seemed more pathetic than anything. Sorry if this offends anyone, give the show a chance and see for yourself. This is my personal opinion, don't take it to heart.
This BL has more tension and chemistry in 6 eps than most Thai BLs with 12. As for the ending, everyone has to understand that it's meant to lead into Unintentional Love Story. It's after a few years of Donghee being back, considering most people watched Unintentional Love Story, you really shouldn't be surprised it didn't have a complete ending. To each their own though, give it a try and see what you think. I enjoyed it.
I agree! I also think it's really wholesome Deuk Pal is now able to study and go to college, which is what he…
Yeah, I definitely wish they both had been able to come back to their own bodies. I can see why some people were upset with the ending bc it is bittersweet, but I enjoyed it.
Someone tell me now if Nian is going to have some sort of change in character? Growth? A character arc somewhere? I'm on ep 5 and she pisses me off to a humongous degree, let me know if I need to save myself the high blood pressure lmao.
A period drama where the women are badass and stand up for each other? Hell yeah. I enjoyed it. And don't mind the comments, the FL was competent and of course she needed saving when she was a woman going against powerful men that didn't see her as an equal or as a threat.
Hear me out below: the ending made sense in a lot of ways. You might disagree, but I would have been sad either…
Song Yi-Heon was already at a time in his life where he didn't have any desire to live, having been used to losing and at a disadvantage all of his life. Yi-Heon wasn't the confrontational type, he didn't like to fight, and he wanted to just live peacefully until the day of his suicide. We watch as Deuk-Pal completely changes his life in almost all of the ways that he possibly could, and while I love Yi-Heon and wish he had gotten another chance to live, it just wouldn't make sense to me if he came back.
Deuk-Pal changed his life. He altered his personality and made Son Yi-Heon stronger, giving him a sense of accomplishment to the point where he didn't feel any desires to be alive anymore. If Yi-Heon had come back, he most likely would have reverted back to his nature and would be unsure how to interact with the people in his life he used to dislike that have now been changed by Deuk-Pal. So, I think the ending, while sad either way, made the most sense. I just hope that Yi-Heon will get another chance to live for himself again.
