FL is one of the best written female characters I've ever watched, and she's in my top five.

Title Moonlight Spoiler
From enemies to friends to lovers to married and with a child. It was a journey I'm glad I went on, and if you have any hesitance because of comments below or the rating, I guarantee you that despite the length, it wasn't all that boring, it was actually insightful, funny, and sometimes outright irritating because of certain characters but the growth and development is something I've found rare in dramas of this length. I really enjoyed it.

Also, I don't think marriage and a child is the end all be all for a relationship, so while the ending wasn't perfect for me, I enjoyed it knowing that was the characters' meaning of love and happiness.

Wow, that's wild, I never even knew that. I mean I see the vision, it just astounds me. I think maybe they should just put a disclaimer at the beginning and end of each episode telling everyone that it's fiction/not relevent to actual history, or depicting real life events. Though maybe that's just my views as an outsider, so I guess I might just seem biased in a way. Thank you for letting me know, I wouldn't have been aware otherwise.

Can you tell me what got censored? I didn't know straight chinese dramas were super censored as well.

That ending was so happy and meaningful to me. 10/10 drama! Everything came together, with its messaging and it's…
I just finished it, I loved the ending, only hoped that I would've seen Mu Yao and Liu Fuyi in the real world, but the ending was bittersweet and I enjoyed the journey. Plus, Miao Miao wasn't a dumb, weak female lead nor a female lead that was great at everything and could beat anyone, she was a woman with a determination and a kind heart. The character development was top tier. Also, Fu Zhou says at the end - "She saved my world twice", which indicated, to me, that he changed the novel ending so it was beneficial for the characters as well.

Minor spoiler about the ending, if anyone is wondering, but minimal and could be easily interpreted differently. Overall: happy endings depend on what you see as happy.

Omfg, I loved it. The ending was everything to me, though I would have liked to see Liu Fuyi and Mu Yao in the real world, along with a few other characters, but I'll believe in my heart that they all eventually find one another and become friends and family.

This doesn't have a happy ending, not with the MC's diagnosis. He has no chances or alternatives to survive, but I swear the journey and the friendship and love and pure sincerity in this drama will make you feel fulfilled in a special way. I want to warn those who want to watch lovey dovey happy endings, this isn't for you but if you are looking for warmth, realism, humor, and an adventure between three people (Heung, Jae Mi, Hae Jo) and their growth as a person. I highly recommend.

Title Save Me
Totally agree. I've watched 3 episodes and it is gut-wrenching. It's not a show I can binge but I do want to finish…
Yeah, I binged it all in a few days because I'm impatient, but I ended crying a whole lot lol.

Title Save Me
Revisiting this two years after watching it. To be honest, I first tried to watch it in 2021 (I believe), but episode one completely destroyed me and I was sobbing and a whole mess, I had to stop watching it. I gave it another chance months later, after telling myself that it would be worth it in the end and I saw a tiktok about it so I was even more intrigued. It's definitely not for the weak.

TLDR; Don't watch unless you are mentally prepared for major character deaths, trauma, frustrating situations and awful parents and adults who have no right to be raising children. But I loved the drama, 10/10.

I've gone and done it to myself again, starting a drama before it was finished and falling in love with it 😭 Now I just have to wait patiently for more episodes. This drama made me feel warm, but I believe the coming episodes will absolutely break my heart.

Looking by the synopsis, I'm confused. does she seduce the mistress' son?
Kind of, but she never does anything with him. They don't kiss or do anything but walk on a beach together. He just falls for her and follows her despite her apologizing and saying she used him. So, do with that what you will.
On What's Wrong with Secretary Kim Oct 21, 2024
I loved it. The main couple is super healthy when they officially get together (any arguments are usually underlaced with comedy and not to be taken seriously), plus growth and the side couples were cute. I'm mostly glad my baby boy Yu-Sik got his woman!
On Strong Girl Bong Soon Oct 16, 2024
This was adorable. I didn't take much of anything serious, even the criminal, but it was an interesting melting pot of different genres lol. I enjoyed the romance and the cringe flirting. Honestly, MInhyuk wasn't too bad, neither was Gukdoo. I enjoyed them both and they made me laugh.

Also, Gukdoo, don't worry. Come to me, I'll take you 😭

Title The Love You Give Me Spoiler
Honestly, I was hesitant about watching this because Min Hui didn't let Xin Qi know about his child, which threw me off mainly because I feel as though a father has the right to know about his child. He missed out on four years of the kid's life, and that never sits right with me,

HOWEVER, I understood later on why she didn't tell him, because he was number one, on the verge of a heart attack and couldn't do with any more surprises, and two, he would have told her to get rid of it to avoid the child going the pain of having heart disease which made me both sad and frustrated at both of them. I'm not gonna lie, though, I watched it and I loved everything about it. The empowerment of women, the address of sexual harassment on both men (while briefly) and women in the work place, the FL not needing to be "saved" or unrealistically have every single problem solved by the ML (Which is a fun trope sometimes in a drama, but can get tiring), and the ML was not completely obsessed with the FL. Xin Qi mainly focused on building his relationship with his son, which made me respect him all the more, and I loved him even more after he started learning from his mistakes.

Over all, it was a very good drama and I daresay one of a kind to actually be successful in creating a strong, independent woman, with a strong, independent man that respected her.

Just wanted to add. The only reason I think that scene was forgotten so quickly was because of the confession…
I appreciate the commentary, I didn't know if anyone even read my comment lol, but it was nice that someone took the effort to do so and respond. I also understood where you were coming from, the show did sort of speed run from one situation to the next.

I get that, but I also don't agree with the show writing that s end merely to set up that kiss, then the confession and such. I'm tired of BLs (many do this) using "drunk sex" as an excuse for SA or sexual harassment only to brush past it. I think, personally, if one is writing that scene into life, then it should be addressed whether "something" happened or not. Other than that, I didn't mind the other stuff. This isn't a dig at the characters, it's a dig at the script writers and producer.

is she love one or she confuse between them and she didn't have boundaries with sml!? and is there a break up!?
If that's the case, here are a few that are light in romance until the end:

- Atashinchi no Danshi (the origin story of Cinderella and the Four Knights). Not really love triangle, mostly family focused.

- I Will Be Your Bloom (no love triangle, but also no kissing between ML and FL at all. It was so cute though.)

- Oh! My Boss! Koi Aa Bessatsu de! (Cute. Small love triangle but FL doesn't give any indication she likes SML and never crosses boundaries. SML doesn't force himself on her or do anything but confess.

Your English is fine, let me know if you need anything else. You can message me on my profile.

Don't be sorry! I do watch Jdrama but I watch mostly BL or non-romantic ones. The romance ones I do watch have heavy romance but also a love triangle. I'm sorry I don't know any that fit your description, but there are lists out there that you can go through to find them 💕 If you need recommendations for Chinese dramas or non-romantic Jdramas, I'll definitely have plenty of those.
