I did Nan Rui’s laugh when I saw the announcement 🤣🤣🤣🤣 get in!

I even commented about the banner on iQIYI earlier on. Hopefully the graphics team is on it and will have something up soon

The rating is good though (8.3 at the moment) and as an international fan I am enjoying it, however, some of the comments here leave much to be desired.

It is a 36 episode show and we are only on episode 14, also the heir to Prince Rui has been appointed as an inspector to see how local governments handle cases. So its okay if they take their time to get to the capital while he does his duties.

If Qin Wan had gone to treat Bai Feng for frostbite, I suspect he would been working for atleast half a year without any sleep once his young master found out 😭😭😂

I would like to note that this is Qi Wan’s third family 😭. The first one got caught up in something it shouldn’t have and was eliminated, the second one is in disarray and about to fall apart and now she has been adopted into a new one. I hope nothing will happen to it but the way things are going are not giving me any confidence 😅On a side note the way Yan Chi quickly stood up to stop his cousin from talking nonsense 😂😂😂 it is a 10/10 from me

My takeaway from this is that if you want to claim justifiable defense you need to have the presence of mind to record while you are in a threatening situation

Although he THOUGHT his life was in danger there was not sufficient evidence to prove that it was (according the the prosecutor anyway) so he acted in excessive defense when he stabbed the guy who was beating him with a stick (I mean beating someone repeatedly with a stick can be deadly but I digress, I don’t know how wide the stick was).

Now it could have been special defense if he had been protecting Mei Zheng from sexual assault, however it seems that when Mei Zheng was giving her testimony to the prosecutors she was reluctant to say that she was in danger of sexual assault. She kept on avoiding the matter and only stated that the blond guy had held her hand and made her feel threatened, the interview stops there as of ep 10. I am assuming when LMF heard her calls for help he thought she was being sexually assaulted while she was not (he was bullying her to teach her a lesson as indicated in episode 10)(this remains to be seen in the upcoming episodes). Therefore, LMFs actions could not be covered by special defense either.

The Qin residence is more terrifying than just being a regular person. What is this? A serial killer and syphilis are loose in the manor? Also was syphilis treatable back then?

Lol I am tempted to binge them every 3 days because 6 episodes should be the standard time it takes to solve a case. I am already waiting for tomorrow’s episodes with much anticipation 😅🤣
