1. Ji Hun wakes up and realises that this has all been a dream and goes to confess to Do Ba Wo
2. There is a 2 year timeskip immediately at the start of episode 8 and one of the main leads (Ha Min/Ji Hun) finds out that he has been hired at the same place as Do Ba Wo. In these 2 years DBW has gone for therapy and has sorted out his confidence issues. So DBW is able to express his feelings well and to receive love; the two start dating and eventually living together.
he’s silly cos Ji Hoon has been there for him the entire time. I don’t get it but I guess the title explained…
The funny thing is I don’t think Ji Hun has ever had a partner while they were friends. I don’t think there were instances where Ji Hun ditched him to be with someone else or to flirt with someone else so I am confused as to were all of this doubt is coming from. By the looks of it, they avoided all topics related to love so how can he even know Ji Hun’s type? Why can’t he even imagine that Ji Hun is waiting for him? I get that him called him his friend a lot but he has now confessed his love for him. Is that really the only thing that DBW is going to hold on to in order to not have a relationship with him? And If he ends up with Ha Min will he be happy or will he live in doubt of what could have been if he had believed Ji Hun? Will he believe Ha Min too?
We are all at fault..just joking😂...I wont even be pissed if he ends up with Ha Min but I think Ba Woo and…
After you mentioned Do Ba Wo’s confession, I went back to episode 1 and rewatched it again to see if I had missed something and in fact I had.
1. Do Ba Wo confesses to Hi Jun by saying I think I like you, a very ambiguous statement
2. Hi Jun reciprocated by saying me too, I like you. Very clear statement, no ifs and no buts.
3. Everyone is smiling, might I even say it looks like they have non-verbally agreed to be a couple.
4. The next scene is were the trouble begins. Hi Jun tell’s his basketball friends that DBW has told him he likes him. Now, I do not know if he tells them that he likes him too, that isn’t clarified. However, when Do Ba Wo enters the gym, the friends start laughing at him and ask him if it is true that he had confessed his love to Hi Jun. DBW obviously looks very uncomfortable and so Hi Jun, realising his mistake (I mean he had just outed his boyfriend, which is a huge no-no, lol grounds for being dumped actually) clarifies the situation and says that DBW said he liked him, he never confessed his love for him. I guess in a bid to prevent him from being called gay by his friends. Now DBW obviously panics at first and then instead of saying I just like him as a friend (wink wink, we will talk about this later) he denies even saying that he liked him. I also think he misunderstood Hi Jun’s defence and thought he was dense, he wasn’t dense at all but had rather made a monumental mistake and had just realised it. Now, these 2 should have had a follow up conversation about how Hi Jun has breached DBW trust by disclosing his confession to random people but because DBW thought Hi Jun didn’t like him he never addresses this point. Hi Jun having been denied also thought DBW didn’t like him and was afraid of further jeopardising their friendship and so he doesn’t bring this point up again (until episode 6) .
Actually rewatching it gives me more stress because I can see all the missed opportunities. The question I have is will DBW give Hi Jun a chance to clarify matters or will more misunderstandings and lack of communication take place in the next episode? Like they may need to go on a camping trip and be locked in a cabin in order for them to talk things through. Even if they don’t end up dating, I just think that for them to move on to whoever they meet next they need to address these issues so that their (next) relationship doesn’t fail.
I don't understand how someone watching this story would still want to see Ba Woo and Hun ending together. Ha…
But does Ha Min really get Do Ba Wo or is it because he read his journal? Like we haven’t actually seen them interact outside of their work on the webtoon. If they had similar interests and hung out talking about that I would get it but all they do is talk about unrequited love, which Ha Min found out about by reading the journal, he didn’t have a particular eye on Do Ba Wo and figure out that he liked He Jun. If the girl at the coffee shop had picked up the journal, would their relationship be any different than how Ha Min is interacting with Do Ba Wo?

In episode 5 and 6 he literally asked him if he liked him ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Like point blank, but Ba Wo said no and then he went to Ha Min to complain about it and Ha Min agreed with his assessment 🤣, but you yourself said no so why is Ji Hun to blame here (faking a health scare is a different thing that can be addressed at a later time but being dishonest about your feelings is not the appropriate response). Is Ji Hun supposed to be a mind reader?? I commend him for trying to figure things out to this extent. I also wonder what exactly Do Ba Wo brought to this decades long friendship. Like how has he helped Ji Hun solve his problems if he is always so dismissive of him? Also can he not tell that he hides his true feelings through humour? Its like he doesn’t actually know him.

Either way I get a full episode of a bf era
